Stencyl would probably be the best option then.
if you're interested in making a game using flash, i'd definitely suggest that you check out these flash tutorials - they're very helpful. there are probably a lot of helpful tutorials on youtube too.
if you don't want to go through the trouble of coding your game, you can always use stencyl - it's free and you don't need any prior programming knowledge. but if you do wanna code it, that works too.
hope this helps!
i use the iwisoft swf to video converter. it captures the video pretty well. the only downside is that there are some minor lags and it slightly goes out of sync, but nothing a little editing in sony vegas/etc. can't fix.
now i use swivel. works like a charm, nearly perfect swf-to-video conversions (starbarians is proof)

I really want to do this and and advice would be appreciated
if you have a pressure-sensitive tablet, flash should have a "use air pressure" tool when you try to use the brush tool. some animators have this and some don't. if you do have it though, it's very helpful for smooth line quality.

i'd recommend using the eraser tool and taking your time to do an effective clean-up. try not to rush it unless you really need to. if you want a really smooth, nice take then you might want to keep ctrl+z in mind which basically undos whatever you did.
hope that helped!

Well said.

ok?
Thanks for the daily 3rd, guys!
Interesting theme. I'll try to make something for it.
you might wanna re-draw his legs, the whole thing looks really shaky.

if you want to learn how to animate in flash i'd suggest checking out these helpful flash tutorials on newgrounds: http://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/creator-resources/tutorials/f lash-tutorials
then just play around in flash and experiment until you find what works for you. good luck!
no, i don't think so, though i wouldn't worry too much about it. if this is the only review you accidentally marked as abusive it probably wouldn't affect you at all.
if you're really interested in making a game, i personally suggest the "flash tutorials" collection. you can find it here: http://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/creator-resources/tutorials/f lash-tutorials
it has a lot of helpful tutorials on it, including this one, which teaches you the very basics of flash. if you want to program a game in flash i'd suggest reading up on actionscript tutorials.
or if you just want to make a game without all of the coding hassle, stencylis definitely worth checking out. just a heads-up though, making a game isn't that easy and the games you see on ng that you enjoy (probably abobo's big adventure) have had hundreds and maybe thousands of hours of effort poured into it.
good luck!
Lobster and Twisted had some nice entries. I really liked the animation in Twisted's one, though it did remind me a little of Girlchan

Daily 5th ;)
Man I Love the HTD Series It Gives ME MEdals!!!!!!!
Animating on ones in 12 fps = animating on twos in 24 fps. Basically, they're equivalent, though I would recommend 24 since it gives you more freedom with regards to timing.

It looks okay, but I think you should put more emphasis on the foot touching the ground, it seems a bit stiff and choppy here.
If you're interested in making games and movies for NG then I'd highly suggest checking out the "Flash Tutorials" collection page. Keep in mind that making games and movies isn't necessarily easy and it might take you a while before you get the hang of it.
Good luck.
That's a tough one, though I'll probably have to go with Tarboy.

The author removed it, I'm guessing.
