Yeah, must be a bug.

author isn't showing up?
That almost-perfect rating...
Also, I think I remember Waterlollies at a 4.9+ once
I miss having RCP and Underdog

This counts as stolen right? All he did was change the song.
Aww, you beat me to it. Yeah, I consider it stolen.
"A normal date" deserved to place in the top 5.
I enjoyed 2nd and 5th place.
An AMV that edits copyrighted material:
A completely random Regular Show parody

Sorry.
Yeah, but technically, Cinnamon Toast Crunch deserves daily 5th place.
Some great animations here! Oney2012 and the Randy Solem tribute, specifically.
Some great entries and scores! Congratulations to all of the winners!
Basically a Youtube poop which edits copyrighted material:
This was originally on youtube, I uploaded it here.
NG has tons of helpful tutorials.
As for music, the audio portal is a great source.

let me know if you guys have any suggestions
Can you be a bit more specific? From what you're describing, I think you're referring to a typography flash. The camera panning over the words should be accomplished with a V-Cam.
3.94 for daily 5th!
Decent entries. Congratulations to all of the winners!

I checked the 25th of march seemed better, but I don't think the redesign really to blame although finding movies takes longer. I think though the redesign feature like UJ games and movies is a good idea. I don't know why some of the old authors like IllWilPress left for example. I miss the old Foamy flashes on here.
The blams have been like that before the redesign. The only reason there were more flashes in the obituaries is because an author would delete a movie of his. Since we can't do that anymore, the obituaries are empty.
Daily 5th is at a 3.61 :)
Decent stuff today.

Look at the one missing a thumbnail. Though stolen submissions getting dailies and eventually removed never gives an award to the actual winner.
Back in 2005, when 3rd got blammed, 4th became 3rd, 5th became 4th, etc, but I think they stopped that from happening since there was a movie that got two daily awards.
hey remember when somebody who would only steal one thing would get deleted?
i don't either.
It was at a 3.30 when it got the award, but more and more higher-quality flashes are being submitted. Four of these submissions were done by actual users and they're all decent submissions!

Back when 300 flashes were submitted daily instead of 45. It's a start though, it's been tiring to see 3.30s consistently get daily 5th.

Yep, NG is definitely declining. Within the past three years, the daily flash output has been cut in half, and flashes get daily awards at about 0.80 less than years back. The redesign makes accessing the movies harder to newcomers, so more and more flashes fly under the radar.
I can understand them getting rid of Turd; I haven't seen a single spam submission yet. Though since the redesign, they also got rid of an updated RCP, Underdog and King of the Portal.
A 3.72 for daily 5th. Things are looking better :)

I wouldn't mind more saves than blams, it shows improvement in the portal's quality, that it has attracted genuine artists rather than shitty people looking for a place to dump their five-minute-flashes. However, I wouldn't mind a relatively even ratio, as opposed to one that's incredibly the fuck off balance. If you have more than three times as many saves as you do blams, then you're voting wrong.
Though less and less flashes get blammed.
Austerity's screenshot pretty much sums it up.
btw, looks like the admins fixed that judgment exploit where you could go to the author of an UJ flash and see a rough estimate of its score
At 51 seconds ago, Austerity wrote: My original 2004 account has a blam to save ratio of 11 to 1.
back when blams were more common than saves.

You should never care about your ratio. You shouldn't even care about getting points. You should care about voting fairly. That's it ;)
I was considering joining the EGB once I improved my post quality and got to 2,500 B/P points, though my blam to save ratio is roughly 1:6.

i already do.
Stainville was great. Kony was okay. Galactic Raptor was amazing.
