Oooh, I see it now, yup fixing it, thanks

The fist? I'm cleaning up those lines a bit, do you mean the fingers, or the perspective in general?

I googled that, wow. yeah I see what you mean! He's not exactly the mad scientist type even though I gave him that look, but yeah pretty darn close comparison

I've been trying to add a bit more realism into my art. I'm trying to paint in textures in the shading, and practicing lighting techniques to see how far I can get with it. I think it's helping a little. I've been working on these two longer than I usually would on a pic, trying new stuff and because I'm picky. I'm gonna redo some of my older ones and add in more dynamic poses, in hindsight it looks like none of my pics so far are dynamic lol.

That looks pretty good, that helps the lines.
WIP2 update: shading and base background color, more later~

I feel like watching this now. This looks cool.
Hey is that the dad from that 90's dinosaur sitcom? That's pretty cool.

Lol ghost story. This is serious though.
Same here, phantom msg.

Thanks, I'll do that.
WIP2 color update - base colors on, started on the faces. Putting in an indoor light source hitting all of them. The flask will be glowing too. Gonna put parts of a lab in the back. fixed the fist in front and the forehead on the right.
Good job on this riot. Yeah, that was me, 50 shades of gray. I figured something was off with the final look; I would have said it looked too smooth. I didn't really notice the blurriness of it until after your tips. I hope I got rid of it now.

Lol. Yeah when I put in the spots, I saw that too. The mandibles really add to it too (the layout of the head Is similar to that of caterpillars, they look pretty evil) Doesn't help I've been playing AVP2 here and there. LOL Beast Wars

Oh that's more like a marker. I usually paint the color of the light affected area right over that, it's in it's own layer.
1st WIP color update, slowly adding the light source and the shadows. This time, I'm trying to paint in a rough texture on the carapace, and adjusting the light source and later the shadows to show a texture in it. I thinned the outline a bit since the last try. Probably gonna put a swarm in the background or something. Next update will be for the 2nd WIP~
Slight delay. 2nd WIP lines, some smart characters, this one had a perspective backround and characters but I didn't go through with the idea. I stuck with different angles.

Agreed, I also like Illusive Man and Duragon
I've been feeling like playing something old school. I got a hold of AVP2 multiplayer recently, but I think I wanna go 2D...I might fire up Maniac Mansion, maybe get some SNES and Sega up in there.

Open world Pvp, realistic economy; Many ways you can make money, mad customization, the skill system is pretty cool (the time it takes to learn skills is kind of a double edge sword) you could focus all your skills in an aspect of the game and be as well off as someone who kills/loots people. You could do almost anything.
I like your stuff, Keep posting.
Hmm. Hard to say. I think mixing Anarchy Online and EVE online would be pretty fun.

If you really want to put Capcom characters in your flash, you could put them in the background, fodder, etc. without having to change the story.
Got 2 WIPs in the works, I'm gonna work on 2 pics at the same time. The point is to keep practicing on different things, to keep drawing as much as possible for improvement. First is another creature, second one I'll try to put out later, it will be more human oriented with some perspective. First line art:
Clock Tower for PS1. No instruction booklet so I didn't know you could win a struggle against Scissor Man as long as the cursor wasn't red.
Narrow escape from him, run into a room, pick a hiding spot at the last second he comes in... he walks near where your hiding, does he know where you are?
Uninvited for NES gets an honorable mention. not really scary but some creepy death scenes.
Doom 3 made me jump the most.
SMB3
Maniac Mansion
Sonic3 and Knuckles
Home Alone games on Genesis
Streets of Rage series
Double Dragon 2
Diddy Kong Racing
Goldeneye/Perfect Dark (similar enough)
T2 Arcade
Evil Zone
Nostalgic for me

Some finishing touches- Added some bubbles inside the body, made it more transparent and some more work on the clouds and that little patch of land...I think I minimized the blurriness.
