I dont think we'll see a lot more submissions today, maybe 2 or three... but it has been a great day I think. Even if it wasnt as big as the clock day or other crews day, I can say it was enjoyable, very enjoyable... And flash from us are winning daily 5th and 4th... If I check good.

On 07/07/2005 11:35AM EST, a small and dumb movie was submitted to Newgrounds by a Newgrounds user using the alias "Alyssa Milano". It all started as a joke, I quickly got emails asking how to join the actual crew that I called the "Milano Crew" (Random name). I fastly noticed a lot of the Newgrounds users liked the random and dumb kind of flash movies, and since I didn't like to spend long time on flash projects, it was looking quite crappy, but the "humour" was kinda taking over it.

In a week I already had 2 portal awards and about 5 flash.
I then sent what was called "The Mighty Ketchup Man" ... surprisingly, Newgrounds loved it, and asked for more, so I did... After Ketchup Man 2, wich got frontpage, about 100 people joined that flash group called "Milano Crew".

Soon enough we raised money, bought our own host, .com domain, made movies, collabs, and reached a nice rank on Newgrounds. Until one day it all started to drop... School has begun... Most of the members stopped doing flash, so other members weren't motivated into doing flash neither... so it kinda... faded away...

The dream we all shared... disapeared...

Now you have a chance... a chance to bring back the random humour on Newgrounds... and to participate in the Official Milano Crew Day on December 3rd... What I'm asking you guys here isn't much. Only doing a small flash to save us... to keep the spirit alive...

If you don't, I can understand... But if you do... Much thanks to you, fellow Newgrounder.

Many of you may have noticed that a new daily serie appeared on NG, The Milano Toons, despite the fact the parts we got are lower in quality for a few days (There's a good reason to it, daily series are hard to keep alive :P ) Anyway, despite that fact, what do you think about Mtoons? And I'd like to have some constructive suggestions if possible.

Depends what you mean by good flash skills. I personally don't care about the look of it, the humour is the essential thing. But meh, u can have a try, if ur movie sucks it may not used tho.

There is no more parts in the UNUSED parts folder, that mean we wont be able to send out Mtoons 11 tomorrow if no one helps. It would be kewl if some people could maybe help us out by sending a part or two, for those who dont know what are mtoons, its only collabs of about 3 or 4 users sent daily. So anyway if u'd like to participate, u'll be co-authored.

But to help lower it use a lot of movieclips that you can use multiple times. Because if it's a movieclip you can re-use it 100 times and it will still only count toward the file size 1 time.

Yes it is possible to send a 30 minutes flash to ng.
Take The Demented Cartoon Movie as an example, its 30 minutes long and its about 3.5mb!
