I got a bad of Doritos and the wrong flavor was in it. (Different from what it said on the package XD)

Is there a way to ban people from leaving reviews on my game? I'm having a problem with this guy.
He emailed me and told me he was creating alt accounts and reviewing, and I'm getting tired of him.
I have no idea how he got my email, either.

Ban people from leaving reviews?

Shower products is completely overrated.
It's a bit disappointing.
Excess should have won first,
Furry Paw of Death should have won second,
Quality Assurance should have won third,
Bonehead: Halloween should have won fourth,
and Shower Products for Men should not be in there at all.

I wish there was someone to hand pick the best submissions every day, then this last minute down-voting wouldn't happen so much.

Horror movies probably did it for me. I would always think: "One day I want to make one of those!".

With reviews: I don't think Posted October 30th, 2010 in Where is / How to?

I don't think that reviews marked as useless should influence the average player review score. Does anyone agree?

User Page post orders Posted October 30th, 2010 in Where is / How to?

How do I make a post that isn't the most recent post appear on my userpage when someone first clicks my username? (I don't want the most recent to show, I want a previous one to show first)

I don't think you understand that animating like that would take months of long hard work. Usually when these type of animations are made, they are made with a group of people collaborating together. There is not anyone on Newgrounds that you can hire to do THAT for only 200$.

Response to: How do you organize your library Posted October 28th, 2010 in Animation

I usually put all movie clips in one folder, all buttons on one folder, all sound effects in one folder, all background music in one folder, all voice acting in one folder, all tweens in one folder etc.

Most awesome artists would be able to make a decent/good animation, only on the rare occasion would an awesome artist be a terrible animator. And it's even rarer that there is a really crappy artist who can animate well.

You are totally wrong.
You can be the greatest artist in the world, but you will probably still have to start out where everyone else does when it comes to animating.
Being able to draw well doesn't mean you can animate well.

You're 17. You're a kid until you are 18.
What's wrong with being a kid anyway?
Do you think all "kid" flash developers suck?
Honestly, it doesn't matter how old you are when you start.

Response to: Well... I'll Do The Story If You... Posted October 25th, 2010 in Game Development

Everyone has ideas. That's the easy part. It's good to have an imagination, try writing these ideas down, perhaps write a short story or a book. But until you see just how difficult animation/actionscripting can be... you probably aren't going to get anyone to make a flash for you unless you have money.

It might still be your microphone.
When did the problem first occur?
The best thing I can tell you to do at this point is to just mess around with the settings some more.
If all else fails, make an account here and post an audition for voice actors. It's free, and you should get some replies.

RemoveMovieClip help? Posted October 25th, 2010 in Game Development

There is a movie clip on the stage with the instance name "popup", and when a different movie clip on the stage gets to a certain frame, I want the "popup" movie clip to disappear. I tried using removeMovieClip but I couldn't get it to work. I tried _root, I tried _parent... nothing works. How do I make the "popup" movie clip dissapear from the stage?

i dont see how you care so much though

I got a TON of complaints on my last game that it should have been rated M. And this one is twice as bad, but personally, I don't think it should be rated M. I'm just worried the majority will disagree.

I dunno, I guess I could always just change it if things get out of hand.

Help - CS3 and up! Asap! Posted October 25th, 2010 in Game Development

Hey, I recently downloaded the CPMstar Ads toolkit, and I can't open the AS2 FLA file with flash 8.
Would someone mind opening it with a version of flash later than flash 8, and PM'ing me the code?
I'd really, really appreciate it!

Flash Game Rating (e,t,m,a) Q! Posted October 25th, 2010 in General

I am 14 years old, and I have created a flash game.
It's a sequel to my first, and it's something that will most likely be featured on the front page, just like the first one was (which is why I am asking this question)...
It's got blood, gore, and violence. It's a scary game. But there's no nudity or language, so do you think since I am 14, and I started this project when I was 13, that it can go as being rated T instead of M?

***I'm asking this in the general forum for a reason. This isn't something only a flash developer could answer.

Not really... I had a Motion Blur going there.

I know you did, but the blur makes an alpha color, and you can't have alpha colors in animated gifs unless they are 0%.

Anyways, I went ahead and animated this, since I needed to practice my hands :3
