Umm, you have to put periods to space something out. The space bar only works up to a double space.......
I've already reviewed all of them, why don't you let me be a judge? :D Except for on my own submission. D:
What are all the different factors that affect the rating? Do you judge on story, or only the actual voicing?
I'm trolling, of course. There is no such thing as gay marriage!
This is good news because I live in NC! Gay people have a mental problem. 2 males or 2 females obviously can't reproduce.

That said, congrats to everyone.

It's not really that many entries, I reviewed them all and it seemed to go by fast. I think I'll die if I have to wait a few more days.
This is actually one of mine that didn't really get any publicity.

You definitely need to practice more. I'd try making the whole thing again. Try to keep the same style, don't use the brush tool AND the pencil. That just looks bad. I'd leave the fruit out anyway, and maybe pick different music?

Sorry, but their game is cooler.

I don't think it would be fair that some people get to break the rules. (I believe this would apply to ghettoleelewis and psychohit71)
But if the judges do accept it, (and the submissions don't overly extend the judging time) they should probably take some points off!

Hey I reviewed all of the submissions now everyone has to review mine! YEAH!
I'd just like to publically thank Animator1mike for leaving a review on EVERY SINGLE submission. That's super awesome of you, man!
Yeah, I did it because I wanted to listen to them all to see what I was up against, and I kind of wanted some more reviews myself. (that didn't work -.-) I really think that if you enter this contest and think you have a chance to win, that you should listen to all of the entries.
I know the original post doesn't really say anything about whether vocal pitching is allowed or not, but I just thought I'd put it out there that I will be counting off a few range points (not anything too harsh though) if contestants resort to using vocal-pitching to attain a character voice. I personally believe vocal range should mean what you can pull off using your voice alone without the aid of computers, so that is my reasoning; however, I have no problem with vocal effects such as reverb and whatnot as long as I can hear your voice clearly enough to be able to judge it fairly.
I TOTALLY agree, I think using pitch change should even get you disqualified. That is not honest at all. Did anyone do that? I remember when listening that there was one voice somewhere that sounded a little off, but I don't think anyone did it.

I have a whole world set up, but I don't know where in my story to set the script, and which characters to include. I may post an apocalyptic skit later down the line, just not in time for the competition. Good luck to everyone competing, and I hope to see you all next time.
I had my basic setting just like you did, and I got everything done in a few days, and it turned out great.
You can do it!
Apple ran out of Jobs!
You definitely need to keep it the same. Maybe you can give us a game description/the names you have tried to use and maybe we can help you name it?
Finally finished!

I've tried to use scenes, and I always would run into problems with sounds and coding. In my opinion using scenes is like a person stuffing their items under a bed. It's off your screen, but eventually you will have to go back to the scene for some reason.
You can organize better without the scenes.
You know you can reassign hotkeys...
I don't see why you would want to self sponsor, you wouldn't make as much money.
It depends. Do you like flash? Have you tried it? Do you have the patience to learn the program?
Why aren't you posting this on Ebay?

Oh, I see.

Hey, you should probably post those details here, that way we will know what we are getting into.
Blah? Seriously?
Making a pause screen can be really easy or really hard, depending on the game. Why don't you start out by giving an example of the game you are making?

It's acceptable, sure. It's really up to you as the artist. When I am working on scenes for my games like this, I spend probably too much time on them. Sometimes I model them in Google SketchUp so that they are perfect, perspective-wise, then I just trace them in flash. The more time you spend on anything, the better it will be, just remember that!
Yeah, that might be true. He could always just take off the ceiling and have the wall just keep going up. That would fix the issue.

I'll ask my other questions in the art forums.
Is this toilet better?
Much better. You can give the shadow underneath a bit of alpha. It doesn't need to be that dark.
