I came across this too late. Is it too late to join now? Even as a wild card? Like a voice actor?

It's pretty good Hot Cakes, but J-qb got what I was looking for.

I may have more pictures that need editing in the future, and I will make sure to keep them up a little longer!

Mods, you can lock this.

Response to: Will Pay for Photoshop Edit! Posted November 20th, 2011 in Art

YEAH ok. It is what I asked for. I'd like a scratch on his leg if that's alright. I like the first edit, J-qb. Can you PM me with your paypal info? If you used the full size image, could you upload that to the NG dump and pm me the link? (I can pay you first if you want.)

Eeh, don't like that much. Probably too high in the sky. Anyways, the first version you did was good. Do you think you could try putting a scratch on his leg or arm or something?

I'll leave this open for a few more days, anyone else is free to try!

True. Maybe the sun can be really low in the sky then?

That's not bad at all!
Think you could do a really bright sun in the background?
And another thing, do you think you could put a scrape/cut or two on an arm or leg?

Now it WILL work on the truck, because it was greenish to start out with, just not the grass and the uh.. me. I think it would be cool if the sun was in the picture, maybe shining on the scene. That's getting pretty heavy though, I might throw in an extra $5 if someone can pull it off.

It's a step. I don't like the green color, I'd like it to be more reddish/orange looking.
Think you could edit the house out of the background?

Anyone else, feel free to give it a try, this is open to everyone!

I am making an original radioplay series and I was planning on posting it on Youtube, along with Newgrounds. I knew I would need some "cover art" so I went outside and took this picture. I had planned on using it as a reference and making a vector image, but I kind of like it like this!

The radioplay is about a boy surviving in a post-apocalyptic world. When the poles shifted, I suppose the temperature got all "messed up" and burned everything, but he happened to survive.

I was wondering if there were any artists out there that could make the sky look orange/red, make the grass look even more dead, edit out the Chevrolet logo/symbol on the truck (the little thing where the 10 is), and also edit out the house in the background. The reason I want the house out is because I think the background would look better with an open sky, and that leaves space for any text I might like to add over it. I'm not too sure about that tree either, it would be nice if there were no leaves left, but it might be easier to just get rid of it. By the way, the water bottle is supposed to be there.

Basically, I'd like everything to look charred and I'd like some dramatic, hot colors in it. It should look nice, maybe blur the foreground a little more, you can use your judgment on it.

I can pay $10 on PayPal. I know it is not much, but you will be credited for doing this!
Hear the first episode, or rather trailer here. (Trailer because it's more like a story introduction than an actual episode.)

Response to: any actors on here? Posted November 17th, 2011 in General

I'm a voice actor, I'm trying to become an actor too. I would get involved in acting classes if I could, but there isn't anything I can do during the school year.
I don't think I'd suffer without them though, having voice acted for a few years.

Dude, Skyrim just came out. Why are you using Oblivion?

Response to: Convert flash to fla? Posted November 15th, 2011 in Game Development

Yeah, you can use the decompiler, but that will cost you. The best thing to do is to work out your problems with your friend. Besides, why did you delete the .fla in the first place?

$10 for short acting monologue! Posted October 31st, 2011 in Writing

Hi, I'm in need of an acting monologue because I have an audition coming up soon. The role that I am auditioning for is a (kind of crazy) reporter on a children's TV show.
The monologue should take no longer than 2 minutes for me to perform, and should be something that can show qualities of a good news reporter. (That I can speak and read well, which I can.) It can be serious, crazy, humorous... any emotion really, but it needs to show lots of enthusiasm. And it should be interesting! I'm offering $10 for this! If you have questions or comments please ask here, but if you are sending me a draft of the monologue, please PM me.
Additional Info:
I'm 15 years old, I look a little younger.
Here is what I sound like: http://premium.fileden.com/premium/2007/

I can take a critique, it's just that you can't submit a decent one.

Response to: Voice Acting Contest 7! Posted October 23rd, 2011 in Audio

I could really care less about my Newgrounds reputation with you girls. I already make big money voice acting. I should have expected this to happen anyway! Tom shouldn't have handed the contest over to amateurs. You guys can't even rate the submissions' reviews right and follow your own rules! "Disobeying any rules will result in disqualification." (I recall pitch changing was against the rules but there were no disqualifications) All of the judges suck (except for SimCorder)! You guys have fun with your ninjas and pickles!

I probably would have won if I had submitted something like this.

How could I have done better? Could I have pressed the magic range button? That's the only reason I got 11th? Range?

Response to: Voice Acting Contest 7! Posted October 22nd, 2011 in Audio

So, one entry that beat me got a 7/10 in reviews, and I got an 8/10. If my range was the only weak part (according to the review I received from the judges - I have not yet gotten my 'number' scores from JaShinYa) then what brought my score to a 75/100? Sorry my range isn't that great by the way, I AM a 15 year old boy so I can't do a deep man's voice. One entry above me adjusted pitch. Many entries above me peaked multiple times. Many entries above me did not have well thought out stories and they included crude, childish humor. Some entries above me featured horrible acting.
I wish I knew that comedy and immaturity was what you guys were looking for (This excludes a few submissions). I have no further interest in these contests with this panel of judges. Congrats to the winners!

each category and I added up the total out of 100

Example:
Acting- 25/35
Range- 13/20
Fit- 11/15
Originality- 10/10
Mixing- 7/10
Writing- 9/10

TOTAL- 75/100

Then say the other judges totals were 89, 64, and 71. I took the average of the 4 totals which would be: 75/100

You going to post those for each submission? That's what I really want to see.
