I have a question.
Does it have to be a rhythm game per say, where you use other songs,
or could it involve the player making music of his/her own.

Thanks.

I think the "art doesn't have to be that great"
Went into people's ears, and since they're stupider than you, it sounded to them as
"Make crappy submissions"

Yes, which is why I think it's fair.
The scripter deserves more than the artist (in MOST cases).

Xbox elite is one of the prizes.

I might collaborate with someone,
if we win, they can have the 1000 dollars, I just want the 360.

Oh well, I geuss its all matter of opinion.

I don't dislike the book, I think it's good to read, especially in the 14-25 age range.
I just thought it was really repetitive.

It's not a bad flash, it's just not top quality which must be what they are looking for.
BTW, i saw that in the portal like a day after I had finished reading that book.

It's really repetative, its' just like "Meh meh meh, that really gets me, meh meh meh, that kills me, meh meh meh, phony"

I've heard from a few people it's really not worth it.
I'm just going to wait untill the next version comes out.

If you don't have flash 8, you might as well get cs3 i guess...

I agree.
Some people just don't know what it actually stands for, and if they do they don't really think it out.

i use fbf most of the time actually unless I want to use something that is so obviously a tween.
Because if you fbf something you can always go back to a specific frame and change something which makes it usefull.

Left/right to move rope, up/down to make longer/shorter. Tell me what FPS you get ;)
Also, do you have any ideas for how to make a game out of it? ;), I'm stuck :P

Make a game where you have to lower a guy/spy/delivery man into a building without hitting things or something, and deliver a packadge/retrieve a package.

Or maybe you are controlling a crane that that rope is attatched to and you have to drop a packadge or something.

Go to window, design panels (I believe) and click on scene.
It will open this box and you can rearrange the order of your scenes so you can put your preloader at the beginning.

I have set myself this essay question: Should something be animated if it can be shot in live-action?
I would appreciate everyone's comments on the subject from a (mostly) amateur animator's view point.

Well it really depends.
Do you have sufficient way of supporting your position?
And are there reasons to actually debate that, for example,
is that important to anyone?

Yes except for totally new controls that are actually fun and uber tricks are actually difficult to perform which makes it actually feel liked you are pulling off a hard trick instead of pressing a button.

And btw this is only the 5th ssx game so...

Chronic future is great, not too many people I know like them.
BTW, I saw streetlight manifesto live, they were really good.

Anybody ever hear of wholewheat bread? I saw them live and they were really innovative it was cool.

But yeah I'm surprised more people don't like stuff like Billy Joel, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel etc.
