We had a similar discussion over at Camp North.

For my sticker paper, I just got these big white labels from staples and I draw on them. I can also use them in my printer, so that's a plus. They're probably not as weather-durable as the postal ones though...

The audio portal has a lot of potential.
However...submissions there don't see half as many views as a flash submission does.

Ahh midterms are so annoying. Going into school late is a plus though.

Actually, I tried them out in the garage and they can be used to skate with. However, walking is another story haha. Especially indoors, because it makes a ruckus.

Homemade Christmas Presents
So my girlfriend was talking about how she wanted heelys for some reason but didn't feel like buying them, so I got the idea that I would make some homemade ones out of some old shoes and skateboard trucks.

It took forever to get the trucks in the fucking shoes, but after that I was quite pleased with my creations.
Here they are.

Any of you have succesfull stories with homemade presents?

That might be because it's too small, and i also have a widescreen monitor.

if you have flash CS3 you can try it's real-time quicktime export which basically records what's going on on the screen in real time so you can get movieclips and actionscript in there

You're a god. I just downloaded the trial and it works fine. There were some weird line things in the first export, but I checked off de-interlace and that seemed to make most of them go away.
