If I'm honest, that's a lot of money to waste on the film for nothing to happen. I hope Roland Emmerich is ashamed.

I used to think Santa was real.

Not exactly a belief, but it's a habit I had when I was younger: whenever I was in the car on a long road trip somewhere, if I was to be bored I would always imagine myself running outside at the same speed of the car and jumping over any obstacles, trees, whatever was surrounding the road.

now that just greeting others randomely isn't exactly going to help with socialising as they'll just think you're crazy. You should try socialising more often with the people who surround you (at college, work, etc) and introduce yourself to the people there, not just anybody in the street - trust me, people prefer to be ignorant if walking from A to B unless if they actually know you.

Every pair of jeans I wear look skinny because I'm fat.

Buy seriously.. I totally agree. I think men, or should I say boys look like such fucking tools when they wear them, and they're so unappealing. What's sexy about a guy looking like he has women legs with no doubt a god awful haircut to go with the look?

King Crimson's In The Court Of The Crimson King.

Completely different to what I thought it would sound like, to be honest. It's got a great multi-instrumentalisms throughout and even a fairly minimal 10 minute instrumentalism. A very depressing, yet beautiful album which just makes me want to play it over and over again. All in all, amazing album.

Review the last album you bought!

I shan't be freezing as for the rest of the winter, I'll be wrapping up. I don't have anything planned for the winter holidays except christmas as I've already done my christmas shopping. I've got a bit of coursework to catch up on as I missed a week of college, but other than the same old, I don't really have much planned. I guess I'll be visiting my relatives in the holidays which would be cool.

Paramore is a band that I cannot stick. I don't want to know about some bratty teenagers who complain because their parents are getting a divorce because if I wanted that, I'd go to a social networking site. They don't exactly bring anything special to the table, either - it's all generic rubbish.

The Offspring annoy me too since the majority of their lyrics usually consist of YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH.

Am I looking at the length of the songs or am I to be surprised by the fact that you're listening to Eminem? Either way, I don't really care and don't see how this is deserving of a thread.

Topic: Itt: Films You Want To See.

Posted: 11/24/09 02:18 PM

Forum: General

Recently, I think quite a few interesting movies have been released, so I was wondering just simply asking the BBS: what films are you wanting to watch, and why?

For me, it has to be:
- Inception - Christopher Nolan's new thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio which just looks brilliantly enigmatic from the trailer and the fact that Nolan has had everyone working on the film under a tight contract which doesn't allow them to talk about what the film is about. Seriously, watch the trailer.

- Where The Wild Things Are - I loved the book when I was younger and the trailer to the movie just looks beautiful. It sounds like a good soundtrack from the front lady of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Karen O.

- Moon - Duncan Jone's (David Bowie's son) directorial debut starring Sam Rockwell, Kevin Spacey and even Matt Berry (The IT Crowd, The Mighty Boosh, Dark Place) and is considered to be a philisophical and mentally challenging treat.

- The Lovely Bones - Director Peter Jackson's new movie looks like a film that Terry Gilliam struggles to make nowadays with its beautiful animation and amazing movements. Based on the novel, it's meant to be a lovely movie based around a murder - Peter Jackson has said that he didn't want it to be about the murder itself but more about readjusting to losing a loved one.

- Bunny And The Bull - Mighty Boosh director with The Mighty Boosh cast. It's a road trip inside of a London flat. Anything else? Noel Fielding plays an alcoholic matador and Julien Barett plays a homeless dog bummer.

- Le Donk and Scor-Zay-Zee - 5 day improvised feature mockumentary starring Paddy Considine and directed by This Is England's Shane Meadows. The film is about trying to get Le Donk's friend "Scor-Zay-Zee" a gig supporting Arctic Monkeys at Old Trafford. It's meant to be very funny.

So yeah, what films are you wanting to see now, and why?

We were told about the Belgian Blue in a science class when discussing different farming methods. God, they are ugly cows, but they're just bred for their meat, or so we were told.

I prefer the killing of cows that don't look like swollen testicles.
