Lol yeah. He could probably stab someone to death with it. haha.
But other than that; that's one hell of a picture.
Well done.

Hey great! You're welcome. :D
Ah, nice thread. How come I haven't seen this before.
I'm just going to dump a bunch of links regarding the subject I find useful. Not all of them are tutorials, mostly reference pictures and stuff. But that's equally, if not more, important. Anyway.

And of course http://www.posemaniacs.com/pose/thirtyse cond.html I have been doing this every day for a couple of weeks now. Good stuff. Even though it's not really anatomy or proportion practice as much as it's training your abilty to get the drawing down quick and really capturing the gesture.
You think tracing is hard? Try drawing your own picture.
If you think something as easy tracing takes a long time, there's no way in hell you'll ever have the patience to complete an animtaion or game, or even drawing a picture.
Things take time. Realise that or give up.

The graphics are done in flash. Not the programming.

Here's a quickie.
Line Quality! Work on it.
Be more confident in your lines, try not not to draw the same line over and over. Looks really sloppy.
Take your time. Keep improving.
Very static. Only the mouth is moving, makes it very uninteresting. Try add more stuff, maybe arm movements or atleast blinking eyes.
The sound and lipsyncing is good though.
also, the boobs are weird.

Pretty much anything that looks good and has some effort put into it. I don't like limitation and am open to many different styles and so on. Simplicity, complexity, colorful or not, realism, cartoony, anything goes as long it is well done.
Something I've really been enjoying recently though is water color stuff, I used to hate it before but I have been enlightened. Just check out Anders Zorn's stuff for example. Fuckingg sweet.
Yeah, I agree with the others. Dominus Void is way to go.
Nice style, clean and nice colors. Can't think of anything to improve.
Favorite Cartoon Character
Tintin! C'mon, you gotta agree he is pretty damn hardcore.
Looks really fun. The only thing that bugs me is that ugly ass texture you use for the ground, doesn't fit imo. But maybe you were going to change/add more detail to that. Anyway, I'm just being nitpicky. Good luck with the game.
I think it looks really messy and boring to be honest. I have nothing against non representationalart per se, It's just that most of is really poorly done. Creating an abstract painting which is actually interesting to look at is really hard to pull off, i think if you're serious about this you should probably study some color theory and such.

No, you're not limited. Don't look on it that way. Practice! No one is born a fantastic artist, art is a skill like anything else.

That took you a month my ass. It's really not that complex.
Obvious troll.

seriously.
seriously.
Then you practice. Can't be that hard to figure out, eh?
Funny how you write a long ass first post about the rules, while not even following the rules of the art forum yourself.
Also, I don't quite understand the point of this thread. What exactly are we supposed to post? Newgrouns related art, there are already quite a few thread on the subject. And is it a competition, what's the prize? :P
To me it's seems very weird to start with the fingers, but everyone have their own way to do it I guess.
Maybe you should look into to some books on the subject. Download Andrew Loomis' "Drawing the head and hands" here. And and maybe check out Bridgman's Book of hundred hands or Hogarth's Drawing Dynamic Hands
Also, here are some links to reference pictures of hands.

.... Or you could just use your own hand as reference. :P

Starting with shapes is a good way, but not the way you did it. Looks like shit, quite litterally
