Me neither. It's probably not legal anyway, so just study it while you can before they take it down. >_>

Response to: Learning Posted June 3rd, 2008 in Art

Practice, be dedicated, have patience and use reference. That's all there is to it really. Nowadays there are so much information on the internet and in books that while formal art training might be great it's no way a necessity to become a good artist.

On the other hand, how would I know? :P

Uh, yes it is.

Response to: A random pole. abolishing MS Paint? Posted June 1st, 2008 in Art

I like to use MS Paint sometimes, not necessarily because it's a good software or because I'm lazy, but because I think it creates a cool effect, it's something about the pixely lines and simplicity that really appeals to me. I'm going to whore some of my pictures here just to show you what I mean ONE TWO

I get your point though, but I'm not really sure abolishing MS Paint would really reduce the spam, the noobs would just continue posting crappy Gimp pictures instead, and the ones too lazy to download another software are too stupid to read the rules anyway.

I dunno, just my two cents.

Very bland. Looks kinda halfassed. No rendering or details, put some more time and effort into your art.

The outline of the hair is nowhere as smooth as the rest which kind of bugs me and the gradient on the daggers makes no sense.

How about some practice? If you want to be a good artist the only way is to practice. There are no short cuts or magic pills, only dedication and hard work. Can't be that hard to figure out.

Ooor, you could just buddy up with an artist. :d

Cool project. I've always liked the type of art projects were you do something everyday for a long time and really make it a part of your daily schedule.

Yea. These rules seem fair and well needed. The 3.0 rule has been outdated ever since the system for batting average changed.
