Okay, So recently, everybody seems to be making big collabs with people. So I jog my memory and find that people have been doing this forever. Since the numerous number of times i've tried to join these collabs, my stupid yahoo account freezes up and wont send the file, I decided to make my VERY OWN collab. There are of course restrictions and stuff, which you can allways view on my userpage once this forum post isn't on the main forum page. BUT because i am feeling fuzzy hearted today i will also post everything here to. Along with that super special explanation speech i left right up there^...

RULES: No Sound(I will add a song when i have enough work from people.)
No Adult Themes(That Means Drugs, Nudity..... y'know what this means people )
Breaking Rule 1 or 2 will result in your part NOT being in the collab.

SPECS: 24 fps
650x500 dimensions
White Background Color

no, a used a sharpie paint pen. and i didn't color the whole thing.. just the fron so that at night it would stand out more. I couldn't get a goos picture of it at night though..........

game crazy. i don't like them anymore though because when i bought it I traded in my xbox 1 but they didn't take the money from the xbox off on the 360's price. but i do have a 2 year warranty with them also.

but luckilly it is still under warranty. does anyone know where i could get it fixed, or do i have to send it to MS?

HAHA. You've got to be KIDDING ME. I use Macs all the time as a Digital arts major. I have never seen a computer crash and freeze up so many times on arbitrary things. Yes, I'm talking about expensive quad-core Mac Pro workstations. It wasn't just one lemon computer -- it's been a lot of them.

I was using Painter on a Mac with a tablet. It was working so horribly. It was changing menus and buttons by itself. It freezed for minutes when I changed windows, and Painter kept crashing. It got so bad that I had to get Painter for my Windows PC to finish my project.

They fucking freeze half the time you do Go->Connect to server. Their interface is childish. You pay a lot extra for a brushed stainless-steel designer casing. The Apple Cinema monitors are huge fucking ripoffs AND are inferior to other monitors on the market!

Any good programs for the Mac are offered on Windows too. Any program that is exclusively for the Mac has an equal or better counterpart on Windows.

After my (Constant) experience with Mac computers, I AM GOING TO BUY ONE.

connect to server? i guess you don't have airport or dsl then. your fault for using crappy internet. and isn't painter that low-quality art program that windows offers? HMMM?????

as for monitors, buy one that is the computer and the monitor and then we can talk about how much space they take up.

reasons i like my mac:
1- they run faster if you get a new one. the old ones are old.
2- they don't get viruses like windows.
3- they don't freeze up and crash like windows.
4- all the applications are in 1 easy to find folder.
5- it has apps like iMovie and Garageband that help you to make your own movies and music.
6- it comes with games already installed when you get it that you can easily delete if you if you don't want them.
6.5- what good games COME WITH windows? Calculator?
7- on apple.com you can get tons of downloads, like game demos, screensavers, folder icons, ipod downloads, etc.

Reasons i don't like them:
only 2
1- everyone teases you that they suck
2- if you are a hardcore PC gamer, mac doesn't offer you FULL GAMES FROM THE STORES. there are like no games for mac. except i heard that Need For Speed: Pro Street is coming out for mac.

overall, i would say go get one. or if you're hesitent, go to the apple store and try one out. or at least ask them how to use it.

That keeps everything in sync also. ^^

This Thread is for people who are First starting flash. If you are already an experienced Flash user, then please DO NOT leave comments that are negative towards the beginner community.

In Flash, You need to go to the top of the screen to the sub-menu 'FILE' and go down to the second Sub-Menu named 'IMPORT'. Then click on 'IMPORT TO LIBRARY'. Another window will pop up with the option to pick a file to import into the flash library. Pick the sound file you would like to Import. If the sound file you want to use is grey, or unimportable, that means it is probably a format not compatible with flash. If you really have your heart Set on that particular file, I'd suggest you use a sound editing program like AUDACITY or GARAGEBAND if you have a mac.

After that, Drag the audio file you wish to use from the 'LIBRARY'(which can be accessed by going to the sub-menu 'WINDOW' or by clicking cntrl+L) onto a layer in the timeline.

Next, Go to the top of the window(For PC. for Mac go to the top of the screen) where it has a Sub-Menu called 'WINDOW'. Click on the sub-menu and click on the option called 'PROPERTIES'. A window should pop up towards the bottom of the screen(Unless of course you have opened the window before and moved it to a seperate part of the screen).

Then click on a frame withing the layer on the timeline that has the sound file in it. The properties window should change it's contents and have a drop-down menu called 'EVENT'. Change the event to 'STREAM' and you should be set for the rest of the flashes you make with the computer you are using.

So I hoped that helped anyone struggling with Syncing issues. If you have any more questions, leave them on this Thread or PM me.

the first boss isn't hard, but if you click the purple arrow you can skip levels. is that just for this demo, or in the real game. because it makes things way easy, also in i think the second level after the bridge goes out and you get across it when you are jumping from ledge to ledge right before you get to the spike pit thing, it should have an indicator that you are getting hit by those little pellets.
