Maybe you just need to focus on specific projects rather than just random animating or artwork. Come on, three years is waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long to procrastinate(And I would know).

Mainly just poor interpretation of drawing people and later on, half-assed attempts at drawing manga. But much more recently, I've been inspired by the-swain's cartoony realistic art, which is really what I've tried to progress towards.

Prolly cuz theres been so many shitball collabs that (good) artists are reluctant to join any collab, thats started by even good animators. With so many animation collabs in the fritz, theres a chance for actionscriptors to step up to the plate to start their own collabs and stuff.

Well, it depends. Do you want to save the fla as a lower version number or export the swf as a lower version?

To save the fla go to file>save as. Then underneath where you type in the name of the file, click the arrow thing and save it as a lower flash version. Note that you can only save it as the flash version below whatever you have.

To save the swf go to publish settings>click the flash tab>click the version>and select what swf version you want.

Its not really up to use. If enough people recommend it for a collection, the admins will eventually add it to that collection(maybe).

An easy and nonsensical way to fix sound sync problems is to simply record a blank sound and loop it continuously throughout your movie.

Unexplainable, but it works.

Also, if you're planning on making a sprite movie, i'd recommend reconsidering. People are starting to look down on sprite movies more and more. Make your own characters or something.

Look, no one's going to give you the code to do this kind of thing. Essentially, you need to learn to code and figure out how to put together this kind of thing. I'd point you in a helpful direction on what type of code to use, but I don't know much about AS.

Nah, it wasn't really announced much this year. I find it kinda funny that they just used the side banners from last year. :P

Maybe you just think too much out of your league. Try some animating experiments or maybe a short cartoon or something. Build up your tolerance for animating and eventually you can work on longer and longer things.

The difference between flash 1 and flash 8 is that flash 8 has anti-aliasing(or whatever). I suppose the best way to emulate the pixel style in flash 8 is to download the pixel tools plugin.
