It's like saying "Ha Ha, you have blue eyes!".
It's something they can't change, can't influence, and is in no way caused by them.
You can change the way the world percieves you though. Sure sterotyping all Americans is not right, but the fact is Americans have a history of being a arrogant, greedy, and decietful. That didn't come from nowhere, there is a reason for such a sterotype. Although not all Americans fit the profile, a great majority of them re-enforce this sterotype daily.

Is an american, white christian man worth more than a dark-skinned islami woman?
In my opinion, no!!!!
All the peole are worth the same!!!!
Obviously it is to an American. More people die daily from poverty and hunger then all of those who died on september 11th. More civilians were murdered in afganistan then all of those who died on september 11th.
The majority of Americans only care about loss of life when it directly affects them. To say otherwise is being ignorant of America's actions in the past.

True, althought one could draw a line between self determination of a nation, and self determination of only one part of said nation. The south wasn't trying to change the country, they were trying to leave the country.
Anyway, rebel you yanks, ABE COMMANDS IT!

I didn't see anything on this forum about the Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003. So I'm reposting what Tritoch posted on the ClockCrew political forum. At anyrate it's another step toward limiting your freedoms, and moving America into a totalitarian regime(Fascism).

Some quotes from the PBS interview:
quote:
MOYERS: Congressman Burton, Dan Burton, of Indiana, a very conservative congressman, who is Chairman on the Committee on Government Reform. He said recently, "An iron veil is descending over the executive branch."
Now your forte is moving information around in Washington trying to find out what's going on. Would you agree with what Congressman Burton has said here?
LEWIS: I absolutely agree with what he's saying. I mean there have been 300 roll-backs of the Freedom of Information Act since September 11th. All over America, at the state and local level, as well as the federal government. The Attorney General sent a message to every federal employee, when in doubt, deny any Freedom of Information request.
We have other things like presidential papers being sealed off. We have reporters trying to cover things in Afghanistan being locked in a warehouse and not able to file their stories. Even before September 11th, we had one reporter's home phone records seized by a grand jury without telling him or his news organization.
There's a lot of things happening with information, access to information, and efforts to stop journalism that I have not seen in 20 plus years of watching Washington and journalism and government interact. And it's not just information. It's not information for information's sake. This is about health, safety, lives…
Oh, and what do you know? Another one.
quote:
MOYERS: The House Judiciary Committee actually asked the FBI a few months ago how it has used the new powers that had been given to it under the Patriot Act. And the Justice department said, "We can't tell you that information, it's classified."
And this prompted then-Congressman then Bob Barr, from Georgia, another conservative, by the way, he said the attitude of the Justice Department seems to be that even Congress isn't entitled to know how they are using the authority that Congress gave them.
LEWIS: It's incredible. I mean, if Congress doesn't have oversight over the Justice Department and these programs, who does? That's how it's supposed to work in our constitution and in our set up for government.
MOYERS: That's one of your real concerns, isn't it? That there's no oversight when secrecy is this tight.
LEWIS: Absolutely. The Congress is the people's chance to monitor the executive branch. That is the only… it is the closest branch of government to the people. The House members are up for election every two years. If the House of Representatives and the Congress in general cannot keep a watch on the executive branch and cannot be informed about their activities. There's something very serious here.
Some quotes from the securityfocus article
quote:
A sweeping new anti-terrorism bill drafted by the Justice Department would dramatically increase government electronic surveillance and data collection abilities, and impose the first-ever federal criminal penalties for using encryption in the U.S.
A draft of the Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003 dated January 9th was obtained by the non-partisan Center for Public Integrity and released Friday. The 120-page proposal would further expand many of the surveillance powers Congress granted federal law enforcement in the USA-PATRIOT Act in 2001, while increasing the secrecy surrounding some government functions.

How does a corpse help them outrage the American people?
Wouldn't a corpse pacify/satisfy the American people, knowing the evil behind 9-11 was dead?
No, you see an audio tape will enrage the American people. In fact, it will get the American people pumped for war. It will make the American people sign away their civil liberties to "guard" against terrorism. It will help the ruling elite to get that oil.
Corpse? pffft, give the CIA some credit, they've been fucking with the world for 50 years now.

Humanity has always been violent, even before there was religion we were violent. Religion was/is just another avenue for said violence.
Religion has been used to start conflicts, but even as religion falls other controling factors emerge. Religion is/was just a tool for the same evil, that evil being greed and control.
I'm not saying organized religion is right, it certainly is wrong, but it's just a tool for humanity's "bigger" problem. Not the root cause itself.
At any rate, as religion falters, greed will either win out and proliferate through terror(Fascism) or a new brotherhood of man will emerge(Communism, and no the Soviet model was not true marxism).

secondly, go ahead and explain your socialism/communist difference argument.
First off, if you only see the world in black and white your are a sad individual.
Secondly, Please read up on political ideology, or at the least look at the political spectrum. Many countries incorperate asspects of socialism, such as Sweden, France, and even Canada to a lesser degree.
Communism-Socialism-Liberalism-Conservatism-Fascism
so·cial·ism ( P ) Pronunciation Key (ssh-lzm)
n.
The stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not yet been successfully achieved.
com·mu·nism ( P ) Pronunciation Key (kmy-nzm)
n.
A theoretical economic system characterized by the collective ownership of property and by the organization of labor for the common advantage of all members.
Communism
A system of government in which the state plans and controls the economy and a single, often authoritarian party holds power, claiming to make progress toward a higher social order in which all goods are equally shared by the people.
The Marxist-Leninist version of Communist doctrine that advocates the overthrow of capitalism by the revolution of the proletariat.

slizor, i'd really like to see you explain this in a way that makes sense.
The bourgeoisie steal from society as a whole. They hurt society for their own personal gain.
It's all prespective really, lets look at the word itself:
steal ( P ) Pronunciation Key (stl)
v. stole, (stl) sto·len, (stln) steal·ing, steals
v. tr.
To take (the property of another) without right or permission.
Under Marxist ideology wealth should be shared equally, when the bourgeoisie violate this convention they are stealing from society. You don't see it as stealing because you don't suscribe to Marxist ideology; however, someone who does suscribe to Marxist ideology does view Capitalism as stealing.
Just as a Capitalist views Marxism as stealing, a Marxist views Capitalism as stealing.
It's all perspective.
Secondly stop confussing Marxism/Communism with Socialism, they're two different things.

With illegal immigrants pouring in, a declining economy, and living standards these factor are going to cause a political nightmare sometime down the road. the only feasible option would be communism or anarchy. what's you opinion on the future of America?
Hahaha, wait, can't stop laughing, hahahaha!
America is the farthest things from communist. Really if you watch the trend America is on as of late it's moving to the right. It is becoming totalitarian, but not communist. America will surely end up fascist, a right wing totalitarian society, before it would ever turn communist.
As for illegal immigration, that isn't going to spawn a communist revolution. Illegal immigrants are deported when found, so it's not like they would have a tremendous amout of time to organize.
I'm agnostic. People are entitled to their beliefs, and as long as they don't subjegate their beliefs on to others I couldn't care.
I'll have nothing to do with religion, nor will I try to convince others to have nothing to do with religion.
In short I do not believe in organized relgion, I doubt the existance of God, but I do not care to join your club.
Good luck though.
It would be helpful if the mod could just leave a reason for closing the thread before he/she does close it. Then there is no confussion as to why the thread was closed.
