That's my opinion anyway

If America is a melting pot of cultures(that is what it is), and when imigrants come to America they must conform to "America's culture" how is that individualism?

America is a melting pot as opposed to Canda, which is a a multi culural society. When immigrants come to Canada they keep much of there own culture, in other words there is less conformity. Individualism, if you will.

Hitler
Stalin
Mao

All these people supported gun control. If you take away the guns you take away the peoples means of protecting themselves. Do you honestly trust the American gov't? Fuck no!

Secondly you can obtain a gun just as easily here in Canada as you can in America, by some people's logic that would mean Canada would have a large number of gun related homicides. However, America has 600 times the amount of gun related homicides. Believe me, in Britian you have big brother everywhere you go, cctv, and less civil liberties then in America.

The fact is guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Crime isn't caused by guns, you can't solve crime by taking away the means. There is always another way. You stop crime by incresing education, and the countries standard of living. And by decreasing hard narcotics, and poverty.

Agreed, I am pro-life, but the fact still remains it's the woman's body. At the end of the day she will have to face up to whatever moral implications there are for abortion, but she still has the right to do it though.

Regardless of how you spell things, though, it's the substance in your posts. I can't tell you how many times I've gone through the 'Bush is a moron' and 'Fuck Bush' forums (as many as there are), just to see a bunch of people calling names and crying out 'FUCK BUSH!' just so they SOUND informed.

I'm glad I've left a good impression after so little time here. Indeed when someone types 'Bush is a moron' it reflects more on there character then Bush's Character. While I am by no means a Bush supporter(I openly critisize him) I think people should offer some substance to back up there statements.

Thanks for replying. Really I don't believe in political parties at all. Those we elect should represent us, not a party. Believe me, in Canada our M.L.A's basicly have to vote party lines and it really sucks. Basicly if a mojoirity Gov't comes to power they have to pass everything the Prime Minister decides to introduce into the house of commons, all members of the majority party must vote party lines(If the gov't is deafeted in passing a bill a vote of non-confidence is held and we have to have a new election).

Anyway I believe that your congressmen should not be affiliated with any party, they are there to represent there running's belief. They should be held responsible to those who elect them, and only those who elect them.

I'm agnostic so when it comes to the existence of God I don't know, and don't care.

I think an easy way to solve the whole dispute would be to make the teaching of evolution optional. If your moraly opposed to it don't learn it. There's nothing hard about that.

No ones refused, everyones treated equally, and Canada still has a higher health care standard then America. The only hinderance to it is poor managment.

Bush and the The Republicans control the federal gov't completly, this would indicate that the typical American voted for bush. So the typical American has the same ideal and principles of Bush.

Welcome to America, thanks to the USPA and the Homeland Security Act the Bill of Rights is now glorified shit paper. Realy I see it as a slow decent from this point on. Personal freedoms and civil liberties will sonn disapear. However, many democrats took part in passing both these laws. It's not just bush and the republicans, either way you go your fucked.

I believe that would be the First Amendment, although these days no one seems to care about it or the bill of rights. In fact people are quite intent on destroying it.

CONGRESS SHALL MAKE NO LAW RESPECTING AN ESTABLISHMENT OF RELIGION, OR PROHIBITING THE FREE EXERCISE THEREOF; OR ABRIDGING THE FREEDOM OF SPEECH, OR OF THE PRESS; OR THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE PEACEABLY TO ASSEMBLE, AND TO PETITION THE GOVERNMENT FOR A REDRESS OF GRIEVANCES.

were we right to force our american morals against genocide on germany?

Your comparing genocide, the complete destruction of a race, to removal of a grouping of cells that do not think or even resemble a humanbeing.

Lastly America didn't "force american morals against genocide in germany." You see America was isolationist, you knew you just didn't care. In fact you weren't even prepared to go to war until hitler declared war on America first. Lastly America knew, in fact America turned away jewish refugees. Next time use a example that actualy fits ok?
