tri - take up history or government or political science. I've only got 1 semester to go and I'm taking an extra course and am still finding more than enough time to play video games and mess around on the internet, and I'm taking 4 upper level courses this semester.

Q: What can I do if I find out a movie is stolen?

A: The last thing we want is people uploading stolen content. If a user finds a movie that is stolen, and it is still under judgment, he can blow the whistle and leave as much information as you can as to the source of the stolen work. If the entry has passed judgment users should contact us and be sure to include the submission's URL. If possible, they should tell us from whom and where it was stolen. We will then either delete the movie or contact the author to see if they would like it edited to give them proper credit. tl;dr: if you're wrong you could ruin the reputation of a legit author, and since we have methods for reporting stolen works, we don't need folks saying so in reviews.

Also, nobody but the author reads the reviews and I think this guy knew what he was doing when he did it. (I think he was trying to steal a daily award so he could file swap with some shock video or some other preteen idea of messing with everyone)

I don't know how quick it happened, but I've gone from 145lbs to 169 since graduating high school 3 years ago. I know that's a long time, but I was 145 from age 13 to 20ish at least. I also noticed stretch marks on my thighs

Our school has a pretty nice work out center, the treadmills have a cable hook up and you can watch TV (and listen to it if you remember your headphones) right on it's funky little screen. The stationary bikes have games on them. I still can't stand working out when there are a lot of people there. I'm slightly a germaphobe, and even though they have spray things for cleaning the machines, most people don't do it and if I spray down a machine before hopping on, some guy always asks if I'm done or finishing up. I like it though, I try to go at least a few times a week. My wife goes almost every day, and she's losing some weight (gaining muscle + losing fat = she's not technically losing weight, but she is getting skinnier)

There's already an entire forum for discussing video games.

word to the wise: I wouldn't go around publicly viewable message boards (like this one is) offering free beta codes to things, that could very well break the terms of service of the game you are excited about. Be sure to fully read the fine print when you want to do that, as you could even get hit with legal consequences.

I think more was talking about a home made turkey pot pie with the leftovers + gravy + pie crust.

We tried that last year, but we didn't cook the pies long enough and the potatoes and veggies didn't get cooked all the way so it kind of sucked and tasted really bad, but after like 4 days of turkey sandwiches we wanted something new.

my mom called and said she's doing thanksgiving at my uncles house so I have to go to that on thursday, which means we'll have to cook thanksgiving for my dad a different day. We decided on doing it on wednesday, but since we're driving out Tuesday my dad will have to brine the turkey so it'll be ready for cooking by wednesday morning/afternoon or whenever the women put the turkey in. The directions make it sound tasty but I dunno about my dad prepping the meal...lol, I suppose if I can follow a martha stewart recipe, he can too

We're going back home and cooking my dad thanksgiving dinner next week. What made our turkey awesome last year was soaking it in a brine for a day or so before cooking it. Threw in some apple slices to give it a little extra taste, but I like my turkey just the way it is, so I dunno about soaking it with all different kinds of spices and crap.

Then cooked it in the bag with the brine and no basting needed. totally not dry.

to the OP: please offer some fully formed opinions on a subject, don't copy/paste an entire essay as your post, and at the very least provide us with a link to where you got that from. It'll save you time and space to give your own take on the essay without cluttering the opening post with a giant wall of text. We're big boys and girls in the Politics forum and we can handle clicking a link to read something and interpret it before posting.

This club thread has no topic of discussion. If you're talking about a favored game you need to explain it a bit so that others who may enjoy it will know what you're talking about and so that others can look for what you're talking about and potentially become fans as well. That is of course if it's not a popular video game which will likely already have a rousing conversation about it going on in the Video Games Forum

not necessarily. There's a thread floating around this forum about how your browser may not cache the information correctly and you can click the X again, but that just means your browser didn't register it or something, your original flag still counts. The NG server registers your first flag regardless if you can see it clickable later.

if I recall correctly there is a link directly to the rules in the ban message page, so you ought to be able to figure it out on your own. And we only have so much space for a ban message. Even if we had more space, nobody will read an essay on why they are banned. Lastly, unless you abuse the mods via PM, we will almost always sign your bans and you can PM the moderator in question if you are still confused as to why you were banned.

The only time you wouldn't have a signed ban would be for posting in a spam thread, and it states it is a mandatory ban in the message. Since the vast majority of those spam threads are by malicious minded users, having to snub you guys by not having it also tell you who banned you is an unfortunate but necessary concession to avoid moderators being abused via PM by the creators of those threads. And to get banned for posting in a spam thread you would have had to of participated in the tomfoolery in one way or another, otherwise you would have been spared a ban for it.

it's fine if you want to play a game you found on the net and discuss it here, but you can't be talking about how to "cheat" their system or use proxies to break their terms of service. That is against the BBS rules, dude.

Nope. There's no way to tell who flagged what review. If it's clearly not-abusive, you probably don't need to worry too much about it. It takes more than just one person to flag a review for it to be brought to our attention.

that's pretty messed up he would waste all that time, but trolls only want attention and crying about him all over the BBS is giving him more attention than he's really due. Next time Tom logs on I'm sure everything the guy was trying to do with the account will be gone in due time.
