LOL! looking good. Just one thing you kinda messed up Toby's mask. He looks like an ass face. Though I can't even begin to draw Toby so it still looks awesome.
Yeah man, just because people critique your art, doesn't give you license to be a douche. You asked for reviews and some well respected people gave you reviews. They were not mean, just honest. You reacted like a child.
I have no idea what to do with the coloring. None. I think I'm doomed to being a gradient whore. Which I know is bad. I'm just not sure what to change or how. At least when it comes to metallics.
A Ninja girl and a pirate "Getting Caught" Ah, forbidden love...

I know gradients look metallic and all, but try to refrain from using them.
Next time try hand making a gradient, instead of just using Gimp/Photoshop's gradient tool.
Dude I agree with you. But making gradientts by hand is a pain in the ass. But yeah I'll probably go back and do something.
Can't wait to see more of your stuff. I am willing to wait if you make my request in color. Take all the time you need. But if I doomed to black and white, well still worth it. Your stuff is killer.

Really? No joke? That's a real compliment coming from you. Thanks.

Try to make sure your lines are smooths as possible.
well I'm off to watch a zombie movie :D
Yeah, not to sure what I can do about that now. I did cop out though. I went for the Steampunk hand and hammer made sort of look. I don't think my lines are too horrible. Enjoy the bad zombie movie.

It is based off the screen play for original Day of the dead, which is one of my favorites, but it was a straight to DVD release, which usually doesn't bode well. and so far I really don't like the cover art. just seems corny to me, and not in that fun campy way either.
cover includedwell I'm going to watch this tonight, lets hope it goes well...
It's Bad. Really, really bad. I recommend lots of whisky if your going to try and sit through it. Whisky will help. I like zombie movies myself but this one is just bad.

What the "CP-30 left out in the rain" effect? Just Kidding. I agree copper is the best bet.

Besides, with the drawings you've produced, I don't think anyone looks at the backgrounds.
Thanks to me you didn't double post! Yay!

She looks possessed. The power of Christ compels you! Still far better than what I can manage in 3d. So far I have managed to master "grey blob with shiny light source."
Robo WIP for Robot Day. Went for a steampunk vibe.

What is she a Snickers or something? Is that why 3-d modeling is popular? Is 3-d art made of CANDY!?!
No art updates today. Feeling sick and terribly lazy and watching my friend get a web redemption on Tosh.0 and yes that Larp in the video is the same one I help run.

Right now, they're all kinda jagged and straight, they need to be more curvy and smooth.
I'm scrapping that one. It just doesn't feel right.

Like I said it felt too much like a trace. I never should have made a frame from the ref pic. If you impose it over the ref pic it fits too well, I cheated even though I had good intentions and was trying to figure out proportions I feel like a dirty whore. At least the first girl was all from my bed pan.

She looks like a goonie from Popeye. I SAID YOU LOOK LIKE A GOONIE FROM POPEYE! I know I'm being a trouble maker. No really good job it's coming along very nicely.
Her eyes are supposed to be closed BTW.
