the spiney is looking alright, but may i suggest that the second (middle "row") of spikes should not look like they are going at an angle, the way the shell curves

The spikes i'll give you, Running, well Spiney legs are super stubby. He's going forward (At least I tried to convey that) Just slow. He also said "draw them running, flying or whatever, just make sure they are facing RIGHT." So as long as Spiney is giving the old college try, he doesn't have to run. Think fat kid at a track meet.

Some Mario lore for you all. Donky Kong was the First major villian for Mario. So he and his son Donkey kong JR. should count regardless of DK's "hero" status now. Otherwise don't count Wario.
