It's pretty small

It doesn't look bad, but it's waaaaay too small to give proper feedback.

Depends on what cam you have. Generally it looks like it's too dark and your cam either couldn't focus or tried to compensate the darkness with a longer exposure time, both could result in blurry pics. So yeah you want it dark and glowing, but try it with just a little brighter setting.... or maybe your cam just sucks.

I second that notion.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's basically how it's handled in most cases, isn't it?

Generally there should be a rule about personal art threads. And I would also appreciate a collection of important links, may it be in the rules or in a new sticky thread for it. Lounge, Request thread etc. could be linked there so we don't have too many stickies.

1. Never ask to be scouted

2. You need at least 4 pieces to be scouted

3. I recommend reading this Handy Dandy Guide.

Good luck!

Unfortunately, you wrote "Evrything, by evryone" instead of "Everthing, by everyone".

And I think the coloured version looks better, too.

Response to: Style Posted October 15th, 2010 in Art

I really like the whole flipbook idea you have here. 3abden is right though, you should add more details, it looks unfinished. I can't see anything wrong with the style, because that depends on what you are going for. But the style looks interesting to me.

You should revise the horse legs, they look a little to thick. And the horseman should be a little smaller (or the horse bigger), because his legs are almost touching the ground while he is sitting on a horse.

I would like to see this finished (plus colour and shading) sometime.

You can't remove them yourself. If they are abusive you can flag them and if enough users flag them, they may get removed. You can not stop them from reviewing further submissions though.

Basically you should check out this post and learn more things about drawing.

If you're wondering about the name choice, I was looking for something that occured on October 7th. But it seems nothing happened on that lame day, so I called it NG Art.

You need to include the pictures using the "include picture" function below, don't just link to them. It's part of our beloved rules.

Besides that, it looks interesting, but I don't know "The Creepypastas" at all, so it's hard to judge for me.

I didn't know him, but I appreciate the idea nevertheless. Obviously his influence on NG and some users was big enough to leave a mark that helped shape the site. No matter how many users that were, it seemed to work.

Everyone is just giving him more credit than he deserves because he's dead.

I consider myself a drug opposer, yeah I even hate it, but if there is one thing that should be considered positive about death is the fact that it can be merciful enough to leave us with the positive aspects of a person and take along the negative ones. You are probably right, but that's not so bad after all.

This is a very bad idea.

I don't think so, but it will definitely be a polarizing topic.

Anyways.... it's a staff decision and I don't feel they made their decision lightly this time.

Whoa there man.... thats a bit extreme dont ya think?

Well maybe it's a bit extreme, but trust me many modern "directors" don't even have a plan. I witnessed them making up "meanings" afterwards more than once. Then they pretend it was all done on purpose. That's fooling the audience for me. Same goes for shocking to cover that the there is no or just a lame flat subject. *rant ends*

Response to: Art Forum Lounge Posted September 26th, 2010 in Art

"Now that I know that people are so easily shocked...." this line alone is the proof that she's lying. Nah she did not know that running around naked and molesting the crowd is shocking them. Ooooh these ignorant people who are shocked by that.

She enjoys the attention, that's about it. Most times modern art is fucked up anyway, everybody wants to be more original than those before him, instead of refining anything that has been done before. It's all just rushed.

That's called art unfortunately.
