No, it is some kind of disk. But it's not a CD or DVD (or Blu Ray). Can you see what is different on this one?

Yeah. All previous answers were too specific and by that wrong, since they described something that wasn't on the pic.

It's the seat of a stool to be precise.

all i need is permission from the artist to use their thumb-nails to write out "newgrounds! everything by everyone"

By thumbnails, you mean their user icons, right? Or thumbnails of one of their art submissions?

i'm open to suggestion

I think the tribute would be a lot stronger if you wouldn't take 30 random icons, but rather try to get permission from some popular NG users and staff members. If it's good at all, depends on the whole layout and design of course.

i will try to credit everyone that joins in, even though its just a thumb-nail it still belongs to you.

If you talk about the user icons, they do not always belong to the users that use it actually. Many users use popular characters or symbols as their user icon.

Good luck.

I don't know a lot about web design and layouts, but to me it looks VERY small. Too small for my taste. The wall art gets kinda lost and ... I liked the other logo a bit more overall.

The logo itself looks nice though. Can't wait for the mobile theme!
