I can't sleep so I will post a few more..
Here's a drawing of the bass player in Cotton Overdive. Also from a photo and it pretty much looks nothing like him..

Here's one of my friends, the drummer in Cotton Overdive (check my audio uploads) playing guitar. It's another cheater picture, it also referenced from a picture. Also, he does not have a beard, but I screwed up his face, so I just covered up my mistake with a nice scruffy beard.
I will be back with more sketches tomorrow.

Here's my sister's jackett on a chair. I didn't lift the pen of the paper when doing this. So it is pretty much just on line.

My mom's cat. It is called Freja. This one is also referenced from a picture.

Continueng with this picture of my grand mother. She is blind as a bat, so you can sit right in front of her and draw her without her noticing it.

This one is "fake" as well. It's from a picture of my self in fact. I just changed the hair and removed the beard.

A picture of my dog, or rather my parent's dog. It's name is Tøsen.

I do not know this girl. It's just a picture I found online, but she looked like a person I could know, so I drew her. This is technically cheating, since we aren't supposed to draw from photographs.

And then I ate the mandarine.. That is storytelling right there!

It's been a while since I have posted anything other than links to the art portal in this thread so I though I would share some sketches I have done in the last few days.
It's basicly just school work. We have to make 100 sketches every semester. Ideally you draw one every day or so, but since I am a terrible procrastinator of course I am drawing everyone here a few days before the exams instead and try to make it look like I made them during the year.. Pretty stupid, I know..

If you made it yourself then I would say it pretty awesome. However I also think it looks fake.

Good luck with finding someone to work with you, working together is fun. But you skill may need some polishing before you can find someone who would want to do that. Perhaps some pokemon forum or something. There probably is some deviantart groups where you could try- I honestly doubt anyone here are interested in being you color assistant.

In my opinion a caricature drawing does not have to be a literal interpretation of a person's face. A more abstract presentation can be just as good but then you really have capture and exaggerate the essence of the person. In fact I think that approach is much more interesting than it just being a goofy portrait. I don't know anything about the guy, so I can't tell of you nailed it though.

Which ever way you feel like doing it, I am sure it will be interesting to follow. I'll make sure to give you some notes from time to time :)

I wonder when people realize that a narwhale's horn is not a horn but a tusk and therefore does not rest ontop of it's head but inside it's mouth.. Just a thought..

That's a good idea. I will suggest you go for a more sketchy feel. Try to focus not so much on finnish as on your basic drawing. Make sure it's tight before you make it pretty. Rough it up man :)

Hello everybody.. I just wanted to drop by and wish everybody a happy new year. 2011 has been one of the most exciting years in my life and I am very much looking forward to what 2012 have in store for me. I am very optimistic. I hope you all feel the same way. PARTY HARD!

Some of these are pretty cool Jonny. That's why it's a shame I can hardly see them. You should do some color correcting / levels adjuting / croppping before you put it up. Don't be a lazy man, man.. :)

Come on dude. Give us some credit. It's so obvious that you did NOT make those pictures from scratch. It insulting that you keep up the act. Post your pencil drawings and then we can give you some proper feedback. Quit wasteing our time please.
