Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I like how out of alllll the feedback text you took this bit to respond to. Real mature so far, and I too didn't like the original piece either and found it really cluttered , too bright and messy. The drawn by mouse isn't an accomplishment either, a lot of people draw with a mouse. I've done a ton of illustration with a mouse, it's just a tool without the sensitivity of a tablet. Go ahead and judge my art as well since you

I thought i'd look at his stuff for fun just while it was up in the air.

I was trying to be nice and still remember moderators on smaller forums who'd abuse their powers for the fun of it. Usually that moderator was me, but thats beside the point. I can still appreciate a forum where things are running smoothly without harassing other users being the forum-sanctioned pastime.

did i even mention your user image looks like an angry knuckles drawing if he was made out of pillow fluff?
Just saying

Yeah yeah. But I'm a voice actor. I need to work on my voice.

How To Host Your Own Webcomic

yeah I second the dreamhost option, I've had it since i was 16, and it hasn't failed me more in all these years. also it has one click installs, which means you can install wordpress, joomla and adsence in a few clicks without needing to go into the ftp. When it comes to adsence you should probably look into it when you've got more of a fanbase going.

I always think 3 dimensional when I draw, lately that mindset has gotten weak. I do such mistakes as making the leg too skinny, making the space between the ribcage and pelvis too far or too close,etc..

Again examples of your work please

I just need various examples of action poses in shapes, but It's kind of hard to find some.
If someone could make these poses(or similar) It could help me get back to that state of mind.

if that's the style you're going for, go pick up a marvel book

man that thing's been out since cs6 was launched ;p it was good of them to offer a cheaper price since they realized 95% of the users pirate their suite due to their high prices

Response to: Having trouble drawing poses Posted October 7th, 2012 in Art

It would help if you post examples of your life drawing and your attempts at drawing from imagination so we know where you're at.
Personally I used the vilpu boxes for the longest time untill I felt comfortable with them, now I go with any shape that would define the specific character the best. But again it depends on what type of characters you want to make and where your at. Examples please!

try drawing from the inside out and not the other way around, this way you can feel the poses and it's less about getting the details(which it never is with gestures) and about the feel of what the pose is. Try doing some 30 second poses and relaxing your arm and make your brain shut off while doing so

there isn't as much detail but you can FEEL exactly what that person is feeling when they're doing the pose, where the tension lies in which bones and it ends up much fluid. Also it's a much more natural base for any polishing up you as opposed to starting out stiff and finishing stiffer

white text on top of a white shirt isn't very easily readable generally. Maybe use the same dialogue box you used on the first panel for the rest of the panels so the text is read-able. I'm not going to comment on the art much, in general it looks really over rendered and the heads look extremely odd on most of the pieces.
But optimize your damn site, it took me 5 minutes to load the page. your header image alone is 527.76KB

I really really like the new one, it's still very rigid and mechanical(obviously), but the colors make it look fun and kidsy like a lego spaceship. Would make a really fun vehicle for a video game
