Considering the amount of children who dabble in drawing at a young age (read; all of them) it's a wonder there aren't more child prodigies circling Facebook.

What I suggest is to study artists whos inking you admire. For example I can use Frazetta
I havent studied his inks before, but if I would here's a good refference I'd use
http://comicattack.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/witz_art_f razetta.jpg
So I'd do 1 pass where i'd copy this to study the composition by breaking it down into shapes
1 pass where its broken down into the solid shapes the characters use
and after photocopy the shapes pass and practice copying the inking on it.
What you find is you start to realize why they use specific strokes as you're doing the same strokes
For example
the muscles are shown in a very lose way as to indicate they're popping out, they're flesh they're not as solid as the outlines. There are gaps in the top of the drawing while there are heavy lines on the bottom as to indicate where the sunlight hits.
The background objects have massive chunks missing in them as to almost indicate a desert in the background... There is an imbalance of dark tones where the main source of black is on the bottom left so as to have the first focal point the characters.... and you can keep going like that.
This way you learn the most I think because you're analysing things yourself and it makes it a lot easier to remember when you're inking your own stuff than if you tutorial how to ink great anime eyes or something generic like that.
Hey Tom,
SWIVEL Bugs & Suggestions
What I found is that when switching to Quicktime exporting it crashes when loading the second file, so you have to keep restarting every time you need to load a new SWF in.
When a movie has motion guides it sometimes refuses to start the render until i cut all the frames out and paste them into a new file and export that
Suggestions:
Remember my settings, since I don't usually export to anything bigger than 1024*576 and without audio. I have to keep enabling it for each file.
Multi selection for swfs instead of adding 20 files 1 by 1, shift clicking them.
Thats what I've got so far, but apart from that this software is AMAZING and is saving me so much time!:D
Thanks NG for making this <333

Besides that, I have no such talents anyways, so it doesnt really matter. But Id be happy if I am allowed to be in the chat after its set up, but Im not doing a deal here. Its all up to you guys like I said.
1. if you do find something and start setting it up I'm definitely keen on making a custom ng chat page free of ads and bull like tiny url
2. I have no idea what you're talking about with the baning thing, I wasn't at the chat at the time lol
2. I havent slept in 3 days and you icon looks like a cyclops with long flowing hair which is fuck-ing awesomeeee
jackdgreatest refference much ;D
I've set up a lot of stuff like that before. You don't really need any kind of coding experience I think as long as you just follow the tuts/manuals. But as I am banned on the stickam chat I don't believe you want me to set up such a thing. Just so you know tho, if nobody here wants to do it, then I can do it for free.
Then, most people don't really know me here so it's not like I believe you're gonna trust me. Really up to you guys.
Well 2 things,
1- I really need to trust you since I'd be allowing your scripts on the server for all my sites
2-Do you know which clients you'll use? I wanna find a nice big chat client and a nice big webcam client to replicate stickam, but bigger in more hd. And I can't seem to find any so far which arent pay for... let me know if you do?

wow. that sucks... I guess you guys are going to have to beg me to get in tiny chat now...
Good luck :3
if someone finds a good webcam streaming client we can combine it with a chat client and stream it on a custom website like ngchat.com i can pay for hosting it. I just need someone to do the hard work of setting it up, if anyone's got coding experience that is(lazy)

Also Fersteger I love your sketches the most , they're so loose and gestural they look like storyboards for an action scene, great stuff!

It's VERY relevant
That is a very strange point. Some people want to earn enough from their art as to want to pay their rent with it and make more art. I dont see how thats a lot to ask, and its definitely achievable. All I wanted to do with that video is to show artists they should have pride in their work and maybe inspire some entrepreneurs. I cant believe you cant turn this into bad thing. But fuck it i guess I'm the weirdo of the group, fucking forget it

God damn it you guys can you stop begging for money on every collab request thread, get a job or freelance elsewhere. It's pretty obvious when people aren't providing payment if they don't put it up on the original post.

There will be no pay as I am not selling the mixtapes, it is non profit for me and the artist. It would be greatly appreciated and you will be given full credit for your work. thanks
While I dont have time for this I support your project and wish you luck in finding artists!
