PM me if you're interested.
Again more detail would be nice, no one's going to steal your idea and just posting this much isn't going to spark a lot of comic artists(including mine)'s interest.
At this point this isn't even a bare minimum description, not even a genre or where its going to go to or how much revenue for what sort of work is mentioned. And this should be common sense, I shouldn't need to push you to supply this basic information.
And in this week's comic I forget it takes a lot of panels to do an action-ish scene!

That'd be kind of hypocritical of me, wouldn't it?
nah you're just more straight forward than most and i appreciate that.
With the tablet thing, I've never run out of pen nibs in the last 7 years, each tablet comes with so many nibs and i think I replace mine once per tablet(which has a life cycle of 2-3 years usually). I really dont think wacom wants to make money off their nibs, if you ever lose a wacom pen for an older model though.... oh boy are you gonna have fun tracking down and paying 1/4 the price of a full tablet for it... wacom feels a lot like apple with the way they treat their old models like they never existed

Neverless, I don't get such a good impression from him, so he's the guy I'd want to avoid.
I agree, the user was a hothead, but this Escalus user was constantly provoking him and the thread quickly spiraled towards a flame war after the first couple of bickering posts between the two of them.

erm not really, I like making a fancy dish as much as the next guy(though i wouldn't touch that...thing with a 10 foot pole) but we like seeing drawings and paintings a bit more than food and spaghetti collages

You do realize I only commented on the hair/hood part, right? The least you could do is read what I wrote..
I tend to build things from the inside out, if you're curious why I drew my own face.
It's still a worse sketch than the original regardless, if you're going to visually correct someone make sure your skills are on a much higher level then them

ok sweet I was wrong, I like your sketches quite a lot! Did you post the realistic photo looking stuff before, because ive seen that last picture on here before... Post more sketches, the line quality in them is all lovely!

It looks like it could make for an interesting portrait; but I wouldn't say it's finished
no offense, but the original looks better than your fix, the lips and nose arent flat and the eye isnt on that odd tilted angle
with that said I don't believe the artist drew this drawing since he doesnt want to submit more art and his profile being a livetraced photo. But if you post more art I'll believe ya

the fundamentals can be learned with ink just as well as they can be learned with a pencil. Even more so sometimes, because you can't undo the line which makes it much better to improve. I've went over dozens of sketchbooks containing nothing but ink because it's a fun and a quick way to put down concepts without worrying about making it perfect. I'm not saying it's the only way to improve, but it certainly is a great way to improve. And the person has passion for it who are you to tell him/her you know better than them? Experimentation with mediums is one of the best part of being an artist.
The stuff still looks incredibly sketchy, i'd suggest some .3 and .5 pens and a old school brush nib and india ink. Practice circles and straight lines with it for half a sketchbook thinking of what the lines symbolize e.g. a thick line indicates a lack of light and a thin line symbolising direct light hitting it. And have fun with it
so i hear theres a new spider man movie again... so i did this
