Bay was the producer not the director, there's a difference. A producer doesn't have a lot of control over the film.
What does a producer produce then?

"Film producers prepare and then supervise the making of a film before presenting the product to a financing entity or a film distributor"

Japan ending its post-war military Posted July 4th, 2014 in Politics

The Prime Minister of Japan is moving to end the country’s ban on an abroad military. This has been met with mixed opinions

Many in Japan do not seem to like this out of fear of their troops being sent into wars between other countries. One man even went as far as to set himself on fire.

I have a mixed view on this. I see some good out of this; as it allows Japan to strengthen itself against an ever growing China and gives us a strong ally in the Pacific. However I can see that some of the east Asian nations being wary of this due to Japan's aggressions during WWII, however the Japan of today isn't the same as the Japan of then.

Great, might have to move out of the house. The ravine had a landslide from all the rain and pulled a bit on the land on top. The house is so close to it that it could go if there is a big of enough landslide and we're not covered for that.

Guess what, that just isn't the case. Various cultures around the world have ways the genders act, and some of them have more then two genders. This can be seen among Native American and African tribes, and there have been unions between people of the same sex.

Note that sex and gender are not the same thing. Sex is the physical features such as male and female. Where as gender refers to the way the person acts within their culture.

The world is made up of countless cultures with only a handful of culture universals, what your culture is; is not the same as someone else's culture.

Response to: The Dystopia of North Korea Posted February 16th, 2014 in Politics

There isn't much that can be done about North Korea. Could we kick up the Korean War again if we had to? Yes. Would we win? Most definitely. But the North Korea can do a hell of a lot of damage to the South before going down. Soul is close enough to the boarder that the North can lop off artillery from their side to destory the South's capital.

Never mind, I guess I need to get it new but the first game is available on the store so no worries.

Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection? Posted September 27th, 2013 in Video Games

I just got the collection and popped in disc 2 so I could play the first game which is the only one besides 4 that I haven't played. But only 2, 3, and Peace Walker are on it.

I looked up on wiki that apparently there is a code for it.

Was I supposed to buy it new so I could play it?

Response to: Syria a go Posted August 27th, 2013 in Politics

If we do get involved, I say keep out troops out, people are already sick of Iraq and Afghanistan, we don't need Syria in the mix now, and park a carrier task force of the coast (if there is one in the Mediterranean; that make them piss their pants alone), fire some cruise missile at key military targets and send in aircraft to bomb them when its safe.

For all those people screaming World War 3, you people have no idea what the World Wars were like, how they started, and how they were fought. Long time ago I heard people calling Iraq and Afghanistan World War 3 when they are not even close to either World War. World War 3 is not going to happen any time soon regardless of the Russian and Chinese governments support of Syria.

There is not much to go on with this short article, even it is stating more testing needs to be done. For this to happen a day after the bombing seems to much to be a coincidence. Odds are they may be connected.
