I know that you can blur items in motion and up to a couple of frames. As it seems, its just copys of the same pic in a motion then it fades.

All i want to do is make an object blur as soon as u see it. Kinda like its default view.

I cant figure out and cant find anything on blur other than the motion blur.

Hello. Im creating a button thats an ammo box, that is suppost to make my "ammo" movie clip to advance 10 frames.

Im trying to make my music keep aligned with my animation. Somtimes the animation slows down and the music get a little ahead when it does that. Anyone can help?

Hello, im using flash MX. I am trying to make my music align with my flash animation. Usually sometimes animation slows down but the music gets ahead of the frames when it does that. Is there anyway where I can make the music stop when the animation stops or slows down?.

Ah hello there so you having that problem with the importing audio in flash problems? Well I have the ANSWER!

The Solution:
In the case of WAV files, it wants PCM wave files... so if your file is in another format, you'll need to convert it. That simply consists of going into your audio editor of choice, loading the wave file, and saving it as another file with different encoding options.

With MP3 files... well, Flash doesn't like them with bitrates over 160kbps. But you can make it play nice by installing Quicktime. Flash will talk to Quicktime behind the scenes and use it to import your MP3's without the dreaded "One or more files were not imported..." crap.

sooo this is where you should go.

DOWNLOAD THE AUDIO CONVERTER TO CONVERT MP3 to Wav files.

The download is free. Go ahead and convert your mp3 to wav files, then save the NEW WAV files in a special folder and then import those WAV files into flash. Try that! workd for me! :)

Heres the original Design I made on word. Before I printed it out.

Its great to win an award on newgrounds, but what about the people who have won an award but have not really recieved one? Some people like to show off that they had accomplished. I created a simple design of an award. The award is not an actual award FROM newgrounds but its a template in word I had created and placed in frames. I have won 4 award and have made 3 awards for myself. I hang them on my wall and it feels pertty good looking at them while I work on flash. In a way I guess you can call it a lil self motivation and appreciation to the work I have put into games. I just think of this as a notice that I really did get an award on newgrounds. I used the logo and background template from the .fla files here on newgrounds and used them on Word. The picture looks nice and real. I have gotten complements and notices from it since then. Its nothing really to be taken seriously, like a said, kinda like rewarding myself. One major thing is that the award says "VOTED BY THE PEOPLE OF NEWGROUNDS." The real awards say toms name on them. But eh you guys get the idea. Well heres a picture of one of my awards I made formyself. Im thinking of just posting a simple template of a "Self NG award but idk if itll really bother anyone." What do you guys think?

There was one time I was making a MGS first person flash game where you play a new chapter. I worked on it for 5 months. One day I came home from school and found out my dad did a system restore.....so yeah that kinda got me bad. I made a 7.5 big flash game im working on but every time i press "test movie" it goes half way and freezes at a certain point. Can anyone really help me? im almost done with FHTH part 2 but this might cut me back for a while if this is the case.

Please help. I have a problem when playing a movie. In a certain point in a movie it freezes, i have no clue why and its really bothering me. The movie stops... even when i right click and forward it still doesnt do anything. T_T someone really help me. I dont know what to do. And what bothers me is when I Test that certain scene with the freeze point on it...it plays..but when i debug or test the movie it freezes at the point..why??? yes i debugged the movie. But even that doesnt stop it freezing...

Sometimes there are reasons for not being blamed. Even though there are crappy entries you've got to remember that you're judging the ones that have design, animation, or even good drawings in them by quality. I know over time it gets a bit harder to get points, which is good, because it's like leveling up basically. Try to spend more time on making decisions on flash by their work not by your liking.

..IN frame 2 of the invetory button I WANT IT to tell an OTHER mc named "side_boxes" but is an instance of a button. To go frame two, to skip the frame that holds the button to play the movie.

In frame two of"Side_Boxes" its suppost to go skip a part in the scene and head to frame 400 and stop.

THE PROBLEM IS MY INV. MC Says cant find "sides boxes" Mc????
