i really love how clean all of your stuff is, it's great. it's really easy on the eyes. you should flip your images horizontally to fix all of the perspective / proportion issues though, it would really help your work. i do it all the time with my stuff and sometimes i'm surprised at how different it looks. : ]

Thanks alot man! I'm gunna be making prints soon, so if you're interested buy one! I'll give you guys a heads up when they'll be available. I just really want to complete a few more pieces first.

Here's a skull tattoo design I did for my friend. If you're interested in a tattoo design or know anyone who is message me and we can work something out. I usually do them pretty cheap, around 50 dollars.

The skull was inspired by the talented tattoo artist Jeff Gogue. Check his stuff out, it's absolutely amazing.

Response to: Photoshop Artwork Posted June 8th, 2011 in Art

You need to stop using filters man. Most of the time it's really off putting and people recognize that it's a photoshop filter right away. If you really want to become a photoshop pro, look up some tutorials online. I suggest you get a wacom tablet if you want to pursue being a digital artist.

I really like the poem you posted, and the image is nice too, but it's pretty boring. It's just a character floating in a white background and ontop of that you just used the cut out filter. Filters can be nice sometimes you just have to know how to use them. Most of the time when I see a filter I just think it's lazy and boring and ugly.

The broken mirror would have benefited greatly if you used straight lines and looked up some pictures of broken glass. You can see broken glass looks alot different than that. Also I can see you just slopped another filter on it! It really doesn't add anything to it at all. Also playing with prespective really adds to a picture. The top view angle you drew is pretty boring. I'm guessing you don't have a scanner because it looks like you just took a picture of it on your camera, I'd recommend getting a scanner.

Just keep on practicing man, get some drawing books, and look up some photoshop tutorials and draw draw draw!!!!!! Please stay away from filters untill you really know how to use them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, thanks for sharing!!

Hey, so I looked at it on my friends monitor and it looks so dark. It's supposed to be light enough were you can see his face / the bottom half of the picture pretty well. You can't see it at all on my friends macbook. Can you guys tell me which one of these looks best on your monitors?

Response to: looping tween animation cs5 Posted February 12th, 2011 in Animation

I just tired copying and pasting the symbol within the tween and that does not work. I tried to make the last frame of the tween first, but whenever i moved anything between the first and last frame, it would just stop the animation at the change i made. It would not revert back to the way I had set up the last frame. this is so frustrating!

Thanks for the reply, but what do you mean by using a graphic/movie clip with my looped animation inside? I'm trying to create completely new animations with graphic/movie clips.

http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/7b4d db45a4cf4b782bc600ce475c4533

this is what i'm working with. Those animations were done with classic tweens. I want to re do these animations with the new motion tweening system. The problem i'm with the new motion tweening is trying to make the last frame of the animation exactly like the first one to create a smooth looking walk/run/breathing etc cycle. Do you know what i'm saying?

looping motion tween cs5 Posted February 12th, 2011 in Game Development

I'm trying to learn the new tweening system for cs4/cs5. I created a character and I did a bunch of animations for him with classic tweens, but I decided to try out the new motion tweening, and I'm finding it very hard to loop animations with the new system. Before, with the classic tweens, you would usually just copy and paste the first frame of the animation to the last frame to make a loop. But with the new tweening I can't seem to copy and paste the first frame. I find it very tedious trying to put my objects back to the way they were in the first frame. Is there any way I can make the last frame like the first without having to manually move it to the way it was? I hope i'm making sense here, I would really like to learn how to use this properly. If anyone could help me out i'd appreciate it.
