Big spender :P

On hardcore games, if you've nearly got a kill streak, say 1 kill away, and a team-mate kills you, do you have to start again, or does it carry on?

This Deluxe Edition looks pretty sweet. A shame I don't have a record player xD

I think you're the only person I know who uses Steady aim. I personally never use it. In fact I think it's the only 2nd perk that I haven't bought this time. I find Sleight of hand(pro) to be too useful to change, and is usually the perk that helps you win over 1vs1 quick encounters. Reloads without it seem to go on forever :/

Share it of someone you know that has it? It might not be worth 15dollars, but I buy it, and share it with my 3 brothers. They give me five bucks each, so they get it cheaper and i get it free :3

Also, would have stayed and played longer with ya the other day, but my connection always drops to two bar when playing with you :( Only with you really. I'm guessing it's cos you're on the other side of the world.

This fucking game pisses me off on so many levels.
I buy a map pack, only to be able to play 1 fucking map online. I've just played 9 games, 8 of which put me on hazard, atleast 6 of those mid-game where my teams getting a thrashing. In the end I had to go onto training grounds to actually see the maps - bullshit >:(

So it'll basically be the same game with a few minor details and different story. I feel they're just milking the franchise now. I mean, a new map pack every month? pffft.

Yeah, I saw that last night and thought the exact same thing. It basically looks exactly like MW2 from that shot, with slightly better rendered weapons and a few minor details :/

I would like to, but since I got a lady friend (;D) I don't play as much as I used to, so I'd probably just be a nuisaccance trying to get hold of.
Also, I can't believe they're bringing out a New map pack already. Escalation just came out for us PS3ers a few weeks ago.

To be honest though, the little footage that's shown in that trailer doesn't look that promising :/
The maps don't look all that great, but the zombies does look rather intersting.

Response to: The Call Of Duty Clan Headquarters Posted June 10th, 2011 in Clubs & Crews

So PS3 finally got the new maps.

I've just played for 15 minutes or so - only played on Hotel, zoo and stockpile. And to be honest, I wasn't THAT impressed. I didn't really like Hotel, but Zoo was quite cool. I've yet to try zombies, but I'm not a huge zombie player either :/

Long waiting PS store the be fixed to get new maps :/

Haven't been playing a great deal since PSN has been back on, but when I do play I've been doing ok most games. K/D is still very very slowly rising. 2.52 now, but I don't think I'll prestige again anymore. I think I'm on prestige 9, and I can't be bothered anymore.

Agree with this. There are only like 10 weapons, and 6 or 7 maps. Hopefully they'll be bringing out DLC to improve that.

I tend to spend most of my BP on 'special attacks', rather than weapons. I used like 2500BP on an attack helicopter, only to be shot down within 30 seconds -_-
I'd rather use it on personal UAV and white phosphorous missile instead.

I did not know this! D:

Myself and loads of other people much prefer to play as Dempsey and company. plus all of the Black Ops Zombie maps have been pretty poor compared to World at War zombie maps, so this map would have to be spectacular for me to even consider shelling out £10 to get it.

I'll probably get it, but mainly because me and my 3 brothers split the price and all download it from the same purchase.

I did play this for 2 hours with a bunch of friends the other night though (a lot of frustrating games of Domination and HQ I might add). Got myself a nice golden AK74u too.

I haven't really been playing lately. In the last 2 weeks or so I've probably played 8 or 9 games.....very annoying ones aswell. I just got Homefront aswell, so I probablyl won't be on black ops until that map pack comes out.

Yeah, so the second Black Ops DLC has been announced. While I haven't been playing as much lately, I'll probably still end up getting it.

Bleh. I tried MW2 again the other day, as I haven't played it since i got BLOPS. I was seriously disappointed - EVERY game I joined was full of noobtubers and/or RPG noobs with one man army and Danger Close.

Weak.

I agree. Someone linked to this video a little while back, either in this thread, or the CoD club over in the clubs and crews forum, which is what made me start using it again.
It explains that the M14 has a higher damage multiplier than the FAL.

At 3/26/11 07:37 PM, Emlfuryoflion wrote: I have recently been using the M14 alot my self. For some reason it works for me now. My K/D with that weapon went from a sub 1.0 to 1.6 after using it for about a week. Accuracy with it has also gone from 18% to 23%.

I didn't see what my accuracy was before I started using it, but i'm sure it's gone up. What attachments do you use with it?

I have two setups right now. One with warlord so I can use Grip and Silencer, and the other with just a red dot. I tend to use the silenced one though. I usually don't use Warlord, as I use Sleight of hand Pro on most of my setups, but it's not as bad when paired with the M14, because you only usually need 3 bullets for a kill, so you should be able to get 5+ kills on one clip. Plus I tend to try and keep more distance while using it, and go for those long kills, so reloading won't leave you as vulnerable as in close range.

It's very accurate and great for those long shots :D

I like to switch up guns somewhat. I've just started to use the M14 seriously. It's now one of my best guns - truly under-rated.

To be honest, I think it's probably the most important stat. If you have a team with various players 2.0+ k/d, and a team of -1.0 k/d, it's pretty obvious who your money would be on.

And I've actually realized that people that camp usually do worse than those than run around, so I wouldn't say you could get a 4.0 k/d doing that.

For example today I was playing some capture the flag, and when you die you have to watch a team members screen until you respawn. Well everytime I died It would go to the same team mate, and he was in the same spot everytime just staring down the sights of his gun. I think he ended that game with like 4-12 or something. Camping doesn't always work.

All the time. Everytime I run over another decent gun, and it's safe to switch weapons, I'll do it. It can come in very handy when I run out of ammo on my primary weapon, or you can change gun rather than reloading if you don't have sleight of hand on.

Response to: Official Cod Black Ops Thread. Posted March 14th, 2011 in Video Games

Finally hit 2.50 k/d

Now with 33,000 kills, it takes alot of kills to go up 0.01.

True, that it's annoying when you can't understand foreigners and vice versa, but even when I do end up in a all english speaking team, and talk on the mic, no one will pay much attention to 1 person anyway.

I usually save my mic for when I'm playing with friends and in a group. When I'm in a group of 4 or 5 decent players, it's very rare for us to lose a game.

You could start using the law at early levels to take down spy planes, but you only get one shot per life, so it would still take a while.

For sure. Ghost is especially handy for hardcore games, because alot of people tend to use spy plane, to get the mini map back.
And Flak Jacket is really handy if you play alot of objective based games, as there are always grenades been thrown on bases etc...

My suggestion is lose hardline - especially for hardcore.

I don't think it's over powered really. It's one of the hardest/time consuming perks to get Pro. Destroy 30 aircrafts takes time. Plus you only unlock the Strela at level 33 or something. Not to mention how rare it is to see an enemy sentry gun around to destroy.

I use Ghost on most of my set-ups. The only other first perk I think is useful is scavenger (especially when it's Pro and combined with warlord pro). Hardline isn't really necessary in my opinion. Sure I've died many times on 10 kills, just needing one more for the dogs, but I think I might not have got those 10 kills if I didn't have ghost on.
