lol this looks like fun :3... i gota join in :3.... when the hell did this thread spring up from :P

ok, just had a quick skim through here... just picking up with the idea of the levels n stuff, instead of having a fixed "space ship" why not each level be themed... like an underwater one where your a dolphin or something, then a robotic one where your a star ship... then a ye old themed one where your some sort of wright brothers plane.... sticking with the idea of different ammo.... you could choose what type you wanted before the game... they stay the same for all the levels but in each "dream" they look different but do the same job...

for example... you could have a newgrounds ship going through the flash portal... and all the rubbish flashes are "waking up from the graveyard" OMG ZOMBIE FLASHES!!!... and you choose your aura and thus effects what damage you do, speed and stuff.. for example... evil aura might do the most damage but be slow... where as light aura is really fast but doesnt do much damage... neutrals somewhere inbertween, fab aura does crazy stuff.... who knows...

idea picture... to get the mind thinking :3

come on.. how many people does it take to make a relgion these days?... 10,000?... and how many users do we have on newgrounds?... hmmmm... why not make a newgrounds relgion... but first... you need to make a tome or book of somesort to tell a story of newgrounds... just print the whole bbs off... sorted... then... we add some art from the art portal to spice it up and make it more apealing...

then of course to be a true relgion you need a god... like Sir tom fulp... and stuff... an each day is called a gold day... and each member must save or blam someone to become closer to "god"... they must wear all of one colour to declare how they save or blam... they are alowed to what ever they like unless someone dressed in gold *to whom thy lord chooses* tells them off and they must remain silent untill released...

yep... sounds crazy enough... might be in for a chance :3

first of all.. im not some sort of magical person on newgrounds *athough some people think i am*... if your post count is going down and your messages been removed.. it is most likey beacuse of a mod thinks that they are either breaking the rules of the fourm / thread and or useless comments...

also i did a bit of an update on my page as always... theres now a small link to a intro thingu i did... its rather crude and the first two levels dont have any animation beacuse i had something planned for them which i havent got round to doing yet... also level 11 is the title page where it flicks open and gives you options on where you want to go n stuff... feed back is good... but either put it in my newspost about the collab or pm me... try not to fill this thread up with comments... keep it to wip and artwork...

i found a bug :P... i managed to get killed the same time as the other guy... so naturaly... the game carrys on while i restart the level... but still no medal for me >:(

check the list... make sure everything is filled in... if you see a (N/A) next to your name... post a comment like my level 1 snowman is a light aura *that was an example*.... that gives me what you want it to be called... what level it is... and what aura... at the bottom of that page is a tally of all the current auras... try to keep a mix as at the moment there is alot of neutrals... why not dark?.. (yeah i know its not a great colour) but hey... if your picture fits it... why not?!...

im currently doing a intro piece for the collab to get people motivated.. we now have 60% of the pictures completed!!!... so we just need to wrap up that last 40% and put it all together... :3...

the game is still a mess... the medals are not consistance... i only got the wizard one on my third try :S... *not my first or second*.... and i yet to have my level 2 medal... everyone else has it :(

on the rescouting front... is there a limit on how many people can scout someone?... for example... if you were away for a week and came back... would you have like 240 inbox messages from people scouting?... also im finding small scouting issues like this person

well the arms looks VERY odd... its like its made of plastic/ rubber... also i take it you did an anime style... needs improvement... more time spent on it... use of either black pen (inking) or stronger shades of grey...

if a medal is broken and no one can get it... then its ok... i know its a bit anoying when its there starting you in the face... but if others have it and you cant get it anymore... its a bit unfair...

with that in mind i think games shouldnt get any harder once they come out... nor should they get any easyer... but thats just me... i can see why the staff nurfed the Pink Knight as well as the maddness game... its not all about a challenge... but an enjoyable game and experience...

HE removed SO MUCH!!! I'm glad you're back, now please sort things out!

i removed so much beacuse if i were to put everything and anything into it... it would be done by now... and forgotten about beacuse the really good artists like sucho (for example) and his art would be lost in a sea of 5 min scribbles... i have let your level 56 entry in... but the other ones need alot more work and shading on... anyway dont worry... there will hopefully be an area where all the artwork that didnt make it into the main feature will be displayed :3

first of all scrolling shooter!?!... theres sooooo many of these types of games on newgrounds... they are easy to make beacuse there is very little animation to do... as for one on one fighter... i dont really like playing them by myself... the best type of games i can think of is...

Scrolling Brawler or Multi-Character Brawler

as they are fun and can combind alot of artwork and animation... :3

basicly VoD means i will let it in if you neaten it up and sort it out... the face is ok... add a bit of lighter shading in them large block green areas, the hat squigles are all over the place.. fade that monical flair just a bit so its not as harsh.. neaten up the hand lines and then its fine :3...

il be up for that... i could do animations n stuff no problem... i just have never had the time to look into the whole coding of games... iv done a tiny bit to get a bit of understanding... i know about collisions and the basic moive code... button n stuff... i would be up for it... i think it would do really well!
