hey guys, i have used a ton of sigs over the years and want to settle down on something nice and classy, I'm not very good at making sigs, but you guys seem to excel at it :D... so i was wondering if you would be able to magic up a sig for myself?...

ok, so i found some pictures i though would look really nice... would you be able to merg these two pictures together *possibly finding another forest background or some sort of texture with my name in some fancy *but readable/ or just readable* text...

so we have (elf face here) *foresty backdrop* (LegolaSS) *elf in background here* with no white showing... make it look earthy and rather natural like the pictures are... the text either a metalic silver or something that fits the picture...

hope someone can do it for me, they would get a big thumbs up :D

yes, i can see them in the art portal.. i didn't click them because they looked naff... how odd... im assuming they were scouted and possibly got un scouted without the removal of the art work...

Topic i want to bring up is... Zbrush... iv seen artwork made in it (mostly from one user so far) but my main concern with most 3d artwork is i don't know what the user has done... has he uploaded a pre-existing model and tweaked it?... are the textures he is using his own or from stock?... what effects have been added by the computer rather then the artist... yes it looks nice... but without any knowledge of what the program does or what stock items are on it... i cant tell if its a master piece or a small tweaked copy... your thoughts?

so today i was sat upright in bed reading a book, the morning sun shining through the closed curtains, i heard the rattle of the gravel path leading up to my home, the letter box rattled and flapped with a metallic ring and a flutter of post hit the doormat, unaware what lay before me i finished my chapter i was reading and got cleaned and properly clothed, that's when the lingering memory recalled like the ringing of a gunshot, was this from nae?... i rushed onto the landing and hugged the banister and span, spanning two steps at a time, gleeful smile upon my wide eyed face, like a child on Christmas day finding out the largest gift wrapped present underneath the tree had his name on it. as i passed the wall shielding my view from the door, i saw a large envelope laying in the spotlight created by the glass in the front door. my heart exploded and hands trembled as i picked up the package trying to read the fainted handwriting as the package shook between my fingers... Renae, i burst into a full blown smile and gleefully danced into the living room and plopped my self into the computer chair and carefully opened the white envelope hands shaking wildly wondering what wonders hid inside this travel worn package. a newgrounds calender! fantastic... but i was far more interested in the red envelope that hid at the bottom of the package... in black clean written handwriting the name "ashley" i flipped it over and carefully un-tacked the square folded envelope, i already knew what the card looked like as it slid into my right hand, i opened the card... the smile hurting my face as it grew ever bigger with every word i read, it placed it down on calender, its cover standing open so the writing was exposed so i could stare at it some more... fantastic!... i just need to frame for it now :D... but first i need to write about it to let nae know how i felt this morning :D.

I can honestly say, this is the best Christmas present i have ever had <3

ok, i used to do all my drawings and doodles in flash,

your linework needs to be on the same layer you are on if you want to flood fill... also... make sure ALL your lines are connected, try zooming in and hiding any other layers you have shown.

then zoom out and flood fill that area *its alot easier that way*...

alternatively... you have make a layer UNDER your line art and paint away like normal...

asking for feedback on an image based on another isnt really going to help you improve...

i vote for the one with the white background... the elf dude...

its very hard to choose seen as they are VERY similar in style... but i dislike the green glow on the left one and the right one has a much smoother color tone, the face is less sharp and i think it just looks better in general..

i was having rather a lot of problems yesterday as well... user pages weren't loading, thumbnails for art were getting messed up and all sorts of random little things going on...

i still have the thumbnail mess up but i'm sure if i cleared my cookies it would work again (i think)

No, this is not valid for the art portal, you have used other peoples work/photos to create a picture... all you have done is put it together.

as pointed above the art portal is for original artwork you have created.

i would hypothetically wonder why i was in hypothetical woods, wondering how i hypothetically would be preparing to a eat a hypothetical cake... let alone why there's hypothetically a hypothetical polar bear...

just out of interest as well... how are you treating the surface after you have painted / spray painted / what ever magical thing you do to them... seen as they are most likey either never going to be used because they are so pretty, or be used to death to show them off and get all sorts on them, then need cleaning... :S
