Its up to you what you want to do, but why are you creating a reference when there are already references to the helmet
See picture above
its a perfect side shot and a near perfect front view, enough to give you a pretty good idea what your making...
also I would recommend building onto the head to make the visor/frame stand out and for the body have the daft punk jacket with the "daft punk" on the back, mix a bit of silver glitter and PVA glue and paint over a silver paint to make it sparkle...
I currently have a spare "munny" type figure (it has pig ears and nose) that i might convert to the gold helmet one.
if you need any help or advice on how to do something, just ask!
I personally have a lot of experience working with miniatures this scale, painting them and any materials that would be useful... also i am sure others will lend a helping hand if we can follow your creation step by step to lend pointers and opinions.
see my mindchamber raffy for example.
this is my entry to the newgrounds raffy contest... tell me what you think... and what you think i could improve on for next ...

Hi level 50... hows it going?...
also, blue dragon will live on... from a distance...
Question - are you making a Munny or are you making a flash animation?
either way if you pay more attention to the proportions of the real thing you will see the flaws...
but of course you may be wanting to make something more stylised. in that case just keep the new proportions the same.
also, to show its metallic add some gradients in there with harsh white to black and then edge rim with white.
Drawing done with mouse in new ms paint.

keeping it something broad and simple would work best, time travel i feel would be hard to convey i feel.
you could always incorporate your time travel idea into what your doing.
the other day 50/50 posted a "how he paints stuff" in his thread, so i had a go...
I failed so hard it wasn't even funny... so this is my hybrid combination... i will try again with something a bit simpler next time..

Love your chunky/funky lines, they are so sexy and smooth, they make all warm on the inside
Im sorry but you really have no tallent, this artwork is flawed and it lacks any knowledge or skill.
as already pointed out by the other users these images require bigger boobs and more mature content!

Depends. normally caricatures try to exaggerate features of a person, warts, acne etc. are all things that make that person who they are. that is what they look like. its down to the artist at the end of the day.
looking forward to more studies and/or a finished piece soon. some soild understanding of shape and tones, colours slightly off in the quick background work, but there is no need to get 100% spot on, its your canvas, its your rules
What i do is draw a sketch of what i want to do... the block in some basic colors on the layer underneath and the convert it all to one layer and go over the whole picture to refine it now i have my shapes and basic tones.
its long winded but its what i do :D
example
at least the guy is committed... even if it takes him 6 years...

Thank you monsterparty, this is very much appreciated.
This is something i started a while ago and really want to finish... i personally think there is something wrong with the face... but i have yet to flesh out all the details...
also i am trying a new way off coloring, after applying my "limited" pallet my colors tend to get gritty and loose volume so i am pumping it back in afterwards with the "color" layer option (for example the skin and flower have had this and the goggles a little bit)
Try and try again, of course i welcome all crit and comments be as honest as you can, if you hate it say so... if you like it that's also good, but try to tell me what you hate about it or like about it so i can try and fix it later on.

Its not the technique you use, its your knowledge on shading that is lacking
...and without a mouse, I'm not sure I have too many options for techniques of shading...
No mouse?... what are you using!?... and it shouldn't matter what program or equipment you have, where you apply the shading should still be the same regardless
