Not sure where I was going with this one. It wound up turning into Arnold sort of.
I've been doodling in my school agenda since September, but only a few of them are worthy of mention.
Here's the first one. Anime I suppose.
Yet another art assignment my reiteration of a self portrait of the artist Leopold Boilly.
Another art assignment of mine. I was supposed to take a twig or branch and draw as I see it.

I really like it. Nice use of layers and color. Simplistic yet curiously artistic.
Oh look...It's my shoe! (Art assignment apparently)
Nice. I like the rich colors you put in there.

I've seen the work you do and you've got great potential. You see my work is only subpar compared to what some artists post on this site everyday and you're not far off from their status. Really.
Did this one a long while back. I was in my early stages of development of anime.

I think whoever designed it should have at least made the options to change the canvas you could paint on. And i would somewhat have to agree with mindchamber, if you had done that on an actual canvas that would have been amazing. I did a quick 5 minute one, its in the gallery.
Yeah..Mindchamber's right. I know these aren't really that impressive. I just wanna see what other people are able create with the few tools they are provided. These would just be some "examples" and what I often do in my spare time.
I was wondering what you signed your's as just so I could look it up real quick in the gallery. I really wanna see what ya did.
Anyway...I was just experimenting with the clone stamp tool thingy. Kinda meshed 'em together.

God...I've always been a Metroid fan and this has been the best rendition of Ridley I've seen in a while.(just using pencil anway)

Maybe if I cross my eyes will the black dots speckled across her face fade. Other than that it's impressive.

It's pretty cool. A lil' balnd for my taste but theres somthing about it I like.
Just threw this together in like 20 minutes. It's modeled after the Brawl version.
Yoshi.
Just a bit moar Samus stuff. I was pretty bored at the time.
This was the very first one I made. It's a Picasso-themed self-portrait o' me.
This was an attempt at a self-portrait. Didn't bother to add any detail for some reason.

Man. I looked frickin jacked. I love it mang.
Unfortunately the scanner picked it up kinda weird and it gave me a sort of file constraint so I was forced to use Photoshop to blur it (I strongly recommend not doing this unless you really have to) in order to avoid making the picture insanely small just to fit the file size limit. I'm not too great with Photoshop so I could sure use some advice.
I made this version of Kirby yesterday. I ditched the thick lines and tried to use much softer shadows but with greater depth.
This is the version of Kirby I did about a month ago when I was still experimenting.
Just practicing drawing Kirby and some generic anime.

Ya might want to make a few revisions before you do a final. This needs plenty of work before it can be deemed worthy of flash material.
Very impressive stuff you got there. Nice rich color and such. I like it!

Do a Barrel Roll! LOL
Just more "doodles" of mine. If any of you out there are Metroid fans you might like this one.
At 4/8/08 09:48 PM, DairyFreeCheez wrote: Hey, I didn't have much time to make this. It's no where near as good as the one here. Apparently, it says that artist Escudero made the one in the beginning if that is the topic starter's name on that site. Here so here is the link. BTW, I couldn't put the legs all the way to the bottom.
Well I'm just gonna say again that it was my work if you still have some skepticism toward it.
I really like it. You're probably more artistic than like 80% of the people on that site. I would say you could have used all the shapes more efficiently, but it's an excellent start for you. Great work.
Anyway, this is the most recent one I made(even though it was about a month ago). It took me a while to decide whether or not to use the thick lines as I did with Samus. Eventually I thought it would be too much so I just used 'em on the body.
Mario.
I saw this somewhere else, it may or may not have been yours, but I fail to believe that you made this.
Some guy made this, and he also made a Mario and a self-portrait, he claimed that it was an assignment in school.
So yeah, prove it.
I knew eventually someone would question my abilities. I am Escudero, Daniel Escudero to be exact. I realize that I should have used my username as a signature rather than my real name. My bad.
If you've seen the samus pic somewhere else as you say you have, you might be referring to the other thread of mine it was mentioned in.
You could also have seen it directly from
the site. If you want to view the pictures signed by me, type in "Escudero" in the search bar to the left of the canvas and some results should pop up.
That's really all I can say to prove myself, but if you can't accept this as being my accomplishment, then I'm sorry I couldn't make it easier.
At 4/8/08 05:23 PM, DairyFreeCheez wrote: That is sweet! Since I am a huge Metroid fan is it ok if I make a Samus, just this Samus will be wearing the Omega Fusion Suit.
Yeah, like I said you can make whatever you want. Have fun with it.
I wouldn't mind if someone drew me too. :3
