I'm part of the duet that makes up The Lakas Experiment. I've posted a lot of our shorter ditties here on Newgrounds, along with some of our cooler tracks. We play a sort of trance/metal combination.

Hey, me and my band, Wayward Saul, have been searching for someone to make us a music video for our latest single, and we decided that we wanted to have a flash video made. If anyone's interested at all, please e-mail me at bassspunk@hotmail.com, and please check out our music below. Thanks for your time.

rock some pro tools, just with the mbox 2 or whatever. if that's too pricey for you, just try running through your amp to boost the signal, and, like they said, get an audio card that accepts 1/4" inputs. that's if you wanna go direct input. for mics, try to place one away from the center of the cone of the speaker, and a few inches from the grill. if you wanna get room sound, record with another mic from a few feet away. if you have the right equipment, throw a little bit of reverb on it, just a little, so you can barely hear it. i'm not sure what you're working with, but i've got the pro tools rig at home, and that's by far the best that i've used aside from the SSL's, and i know you can't afford that!

also, if you set up mics in that fashion with the 2-in-1's, if you happen to have any mics that need phantom power, they aren't gonna work...like they said, get a multitrack recording program. pro tools has an mbox that comes with it, with two 1/4" i/o's. you can also use trs cables with it. it'll only run you a few hundred, since they're liquidating the old model from their website, here
