well, sometimes one just can't understand why some reviews are being deleted... today one of mine was deleted (and worst of all: i wrote that just today! have i some kind of stalker, that flags any review of mine that may be slightly abusive? don't think so, but it seems like that...).
it was about a movie that the author want's to have deleted, so he swapped files and now all his flash contains is a single word: "delete".
so, i wrote in my review that he should PM Wade, or change the title of the flash to "deleteau01" or something similar.

and now to the funny part: there are serveral reviews that just say the same like mine... and those weren't deleted. they weren't even flagged!

abuse on all pages. pretty easy to spot.

ok, so we all calmed down now (even me.. i think i overreacted yesterday) and the mods and admins kinda sorted things out. so, let's get back to business.

but theirs always the option of clearing the flags without punishment. which i would have understood, but not punish 20 or more users for flagging 100% abusive reviews.

i am bitching because some mod is clearly abusing his powers here. that makes the whole flagging system just senseless! if i flag abusive reviews and get punished for doing so, why should i flag them in the first place?

did you read the topic? it's not just ONE SINGLE user, but MUCH MORE (the flags were up to 22 and more, so about 22 users are involved in this crap).
me for instance. i had gold whistle, which means i do know how to flag (or else i wouldn't have reached gold in the first place). and a review that consists of nothing else then "GO TO WWW.FLASHPORN.COM" IS abusive!
now, all the flags are cleared, many users now have a garbage whistle, although they didn't do anything wrong, and those reviews are STILL deleted (with flags cleared, of course)!

yes, the reviews are getting deleted right now. he's don to 30something. but not without clearing the flags first.

wow, did you notice that some of fiashporn's reviews got the flags cleared?? some of them say: "0/0 found this helpful, did you?" whereas it was about "0/20 found this helpful..." just a minute ago!

well, you obviously have missed the "basspro55"-day. he got over 500 abusive reviews on his account (all copy-pasta-style). and i think his ban is over, so keep an eye out on him. he might do it again :D .

however, this guy has tons of crappy reviews, which is against the rules (at least the faq says:
"Do not post TONS and TONS of crappy reviews just to get high in the rankings"). but i am not sure if those reviews are flaggable or not... so flag with care!
