I'm pretty sure that lets retain its detail when zoomed.
Well if you school uses CS3, and you're learning CS3 and AS3, then you could always use this.
But if your school is using 8 and you're more used to it, you'd better switch to AS2.
I know how you would do it for a movie... Are you trying to pause a movie or a game?

You could always try the
Voice Acting Club. Be sure to read the 'How to post Auditions' thread.
It's not that his walk cycle is choppy, it's that his knees don't bend. You should take a look at a walk cycle tutorial. There's some in the NG Flash tutorial collection.
I'll take a wild guess -
Are you publishing it in the right AS?
(File > Publish Settings > 'Flash' tab.)
I'm pretty sure if you just clicked on the .swf window after it's exported, it'll keep its focus...
Just put it on a layer beneath the other layers that you're using to animate.
Oh, I've played this game on Newgrounds, but it was so long ago, I forgot the name. Dx
Where she's walking.
Looks good so far. But is it lagging, or is it supposed to be like that?
Have you tried Optimising your graphics? (Select the shape, Modify > Shape >Optimise. Or Ctrl + Alt + Shift + C). It might help.

The audio forum? That place is for the audio artist who make music and such.
Well, are you using scenes? Because they're known to mess up sound syncing.

I would probably suggest Imagebay. I actually lets you change the dimensions of the .swf.
And I get this problem, except that the progress bar just pauses half way and doesn't do anything, although, that could be my internet.
1. Examples of your own work, you don't seem to have submitted any of your own to NG.
2.This is theoretically a collaboration, which you'll need to read about here.
And even if it wasn't you'd need to include the specs of it. eg; Stage size, Frame rate etc.
Depending on what AS you're using... (Go to File > Publish Settings > 'Flash' tab) You'll get different answers.
If you want faster and somewhat more reliable answers, you're going to probably want to learn AS2, since it's more commonly known...
I'm sure if you go through the 'Button Tutorials' (With AS2) you'll get the hang of it, but you can't learn this stuff over night... Or just really quickly I should say.
Wait, what's the Raw Materials going to help with? All it has is graphics.
Well you should probably take a look at the Newgrounds Tutorial Collection.
(And it should be a button if you're making a button...)
It usually makes the centre of the movieclip. When you're editing it, and you align to centre, it'll align to the registration point. It also makes the rotation point.
Are you exporting it in AS3?
Hah, I was planning to do a Time Crisis remake. But with some minor changes =P
Anyway, I would agree with the 'Time Crisis doesn't have a gun showing' statement.
I'm guessing you mean in-flash pop-ups?
Well, you'd have to have a movieclip of the pop-up somewhere on stage, with the first frame blank. Then on the button you want to summon the pop-up have a code along the lines of :
popup.gotoAndStop(2);
popup being the instance name of the movieclip.
Although, if you want an animated one, you' have gotoAndPlay(2);.
I'm sure you can figure it out from there.
If it's a static font, then in the .swf, it'll change into a shape.
But if it's dynamic, then it will turn into the persons computers default font.
It was probably too troublesome, since you'd have to check the movieclip to see if there's AS on it, and to actually put it on it in the first place.
In AS3, you can control everything from the a single panel.
You could've kept this in your previous topic...
I suppose Photoshop, since it's supposed to be the best. But in reference to your other thread, it's not the program that makes the Flash better, it's the creator...
Are you exporting in AS2? It's under publish settings under File.

Exactly. Why post it here then?
Have you tried 'Ctrl + Enter'?
I think you're both going to get banned for even mentioning it. -_-"
And why would you post a script up? That would be like knowing the ending of HP7. Although that's if your flash movie gets recognised.
I'd say it was Vista. It's known to mess up Flash.
