It was quite nice. I liked the color scheme and the graphics quite a bit. Now for some criticism!:

Title: The "WolfTron" thing at the top looks really flat. It's right next to this cool 3D-ish graphic. The contrast makes it look even more primitive. I'd work on doing something fancy with those letters.

Music: I hate music on websites. Beyond the obvious load time issue, I am always listening to music of my own. So when I go on a website, I get this horrible mix of my wonderful music and your midi crap. Usually, unless I absolutly have to be on that website, I will close it immediatly if it has music. I'm sure I am not the only one, so that's something you may want to consider.

Background: In several places you are adding a picture background. It's very distracting to the visitor if they are trying to read. At least you use text boxes, a lot of people don't even do that. Then it's even worse because you are trying to read the text and whole words blend in with the background. But yes, here, the pictures really don't match the color scheme of your site and it's a little jarring to look at. Plain black would work best with the red. If you really want to have a lot of pictures on your site, compensate by putting them into the page normally, rather than as a background. But really, imagine-intensive sites tend to be eyesores.

Anyways, welcome to the wonderful world of website-owning. It's a great feeling, isn't it? So good luck to you, have fun, and don't forget to use a spell-checker before you put anything up!

You can organize everything by folder, makes things a bit easier. So instead of going through 1000 songs at once, you can just go through the "Tuesday Morning Bus Ride" folder.

And it's quite a bit smaller than an MP3 compatible CD player, lol.

You guys live an hour away from each other and not having a phone is forcing you apart? Pffth!

Talk on the internet! Get ventrillo or any number of other chat programs (MSN and AOL both have them, I think). Go to the store and buy yourselves $10 microphones. Not a huge deal. You get to talk all you want for free! You lucky kids, back when I was dating, we didn't have such wonderful alternatives and had to stick to e-mails and pulling really long work hours for phone bills.

I am using Macromedia Flash MX. I was wondering how to do fade in and fade out. Also, is there a way to set the speed with which this effect occurs?

Thank you very much :)

What are you looking for the other person to do? Like, you make the bulk of the animation and the other person fills in gaps?

Just trying to understand what you want here. So you want someone to help you with ideas for a script, draw what you tell them to, and then animate the suckah?

It seems to me that you would be far better off either learning to use a flash program or learning to draw so that you have another skill to add to the team. That, or come up with a really good story pitch that would get people interested in working with you.

Because, you know, spending all your time on a forum is a sure-fire way to earn respect... :\

As for the original poster, sorry. I've tried to draw in an anime style hundreds of times and it always comes out...creepy...with the huge eyes...oh god the eyes!!

It's pretty hard to draw on paper and then make it all moveable since you need to cut out each individual piece. That can get iffy, particularly if your scanner is as crappy as mine.

Tablets take considerable getting used to, but it's by far the best option if you are willing to put in the time and practice. You can buy them for as little as $100 (canadian). Mine is pretty low end, but it's so much better than a mouse (my carpal's tunnel is thanking me).

If you really don't want to try a tablet, then I would recommend drawing the picture out on paper, scanning it, and then tracing it in a paint program. This is much easier if you use PhotoShop, thanks to layers. This will make the image much clearer and (in my opinion) allow you to do more with it alterations-wise.

Good luck! Hope this helps :D
