Okey here is the red head again but then her ears are now straight ;) and drawn without real lineart. Just to test this drawing style. :D

A gesture drawing is a quick (30-120 seconds) sketch intended to capture the bare essentials of the subject, the gesture. I use these two sites. Pixelovely has a wider range of expressions and angles but limited models, quickposes has lots of models in different lightning but the models tends to be very samey in my opinion.

I try to finish the drawing as much as I can in the 90 seconds I have, putting emphasis on having the proportions right every time. It was during some of these studies I started to understand the loomis technique.

Now, only one month later I draw stuff like this in 12 minutes!

Hey thanks Havegum, I've lookd at the things you posted and i'm certainly going to try it. It will be great if i get more dynamics in my faces. after that i'm going to train myself with more dynamic poses and so on and so forth. But this will help me greatly i'm sure. ;) I'll keep posting my progress here :D

@Butterpopsicle: Yes i use guidelines and perhaps here it went a little wrong but ah which realistic face is symatrical anyways.

Yes i use a tablet a very old one but i'm saving up to buy a new one ;)

I used to draw in a different style and this is a new style i'm developing. So i'm still working hard to perfect it ofcourse.
