Mmm I have a few ideas for this collab, I may participate if I have the time. But, between the game, my first animation, my band and my girlfriend I don't know if I'll be able to do more than one or two...

I have one super stupid idea too but unless I draw it at a really high quality, it'll just look like me being an idiot.

I suggest you do take the leadership role LaserKarl, as enthusiastic as I am about this project, it's came at the worst possible time, and I wouldn't be able to put as much time and effort as I would like to, meaning (not that I think anyone has considered it) that I would not be able to be leader. I suggest, however, that wediscuss this over AIm or MSN.

Everyone from the Steampunk group needs to PM their MSN or AIM IDs so we can get the fundamentals underway.

My MSN is Knocturne@live.com and my AIm is MrShadowRabbit so let's get this show on the road.

I'm actually working on an animation, I could post how it looks so far, my lack of animation talent makes it basically mouth animation to limited moving images.

I'm holding off on it at the moment but if you guys really wanna see it, I'll post what I had before I decided to get better at art in general and animating before I continue.

I take that as a compliment. I'm still amateur so I try different things, trying to feel out exactly what I like and what I don't.

just pictures put through filters.

Jolie was done with darkstrokes or a similar brush stroke filter and halftone filter, the Amelie one was done with the palette knife filter.

Cool, I may come up with something if I can think of something cool.

I almost didn't open this thread for fear of phallus humour. Good thing I did it anyway.

Here's a Pico/Alien Hominid sketch for a concept I will never do: Picomon. I thought putting those two into a Pokemon-esque drawing would be funny but eh.

I'm particularly sensitive to the whole co-author thing... who was told they'd get it and didn't? and who got it but shouldn't have? or did you promise more spots than you had? Taking an "Oh well, we screwed up so we'll just leave it" attitude is bullshit. This needs to get fixed.

I was promised a spot, it was out of the blue and everything and I don't really want it to be a big deal. Though, being told I was gonna get co-authoired and then seeing I wasn't was kinda like getting dumped over the phone, via voice mail, at a surprise party for you, since it's your birthday and everyone waiting to surprise you heard the long break-up message.

It's a funny idea to put rejected submissions in. Kinda mean though, even if they have a clever section name.

Yeah, now that you mention it, that would have been awesome if there had been Newgrounds music.

I know right? Most of the ones I liked from the lsit got in, it's kinda hard to choose, but I wanna work on a level that'd support my style, steam punk and cyber punk probably wouldn't look good done by me but if I tried hard maybe I could do an enemy or two.

I'd like to help with the Steampunk or Surreal or Post-apocalyptic level.

It's for the stages.

I was suggesting using it to help order up the teams, it wouldn't make sense for people to be on teams for stages they didn't even want.

I agree, the line style is just that, a style. I think you should just do some of it without the line tool but I don't think it'll do your style justice.

I think one of the only things I don't like about your drawings is the weird perspectives, it's cool sometimes but seeing similar foreshortening each time is kinda like a "Where's Waldo" book with Waldo completely covering each page of the book.
