Jeez
Also, I'd probably do this if it didn't feel like a Christmas version of the Grim Collab.
Just get an image of a model (hand, full body or whatever) and draw it as much as I can without looking at my paper too much, this book I bought said you become better at observing if you concentrate on portraying what you see, and don't look at the paper more than you need to.
Sometimes I'll draw outside at this little park near my house.
All in all, I only do it maybe once a week. For the colours of skin, I haven't really done much besides look at various skin tone palettes but I haven't done anything about it.
Right now, I'm trying to learn up about drawing machines and strengthen and impliment perspective.
The opening picture is pretty disheartening, I could use this drawing I did of of the old tankman and the new one. Assuming this collab was approved.

Oh, I mean the one you started the thread with if you didn't know!
Gracias
What studies? Do you mean observational works? I'm not sure what you mean.
I've been working on colours and anatomy because the first couple of critics said I needed to work on it.
The finished product...missing a background but I couldn't think of anything to put in the background.
I used to call that bear Kuma when I was a huge anime fan, but I don't have a name for him anymore, and just because his teeth wrap around his face doesn't mean he is a Radiohead bear rip off, because that is where the resemblance ends and it actually bothers me to get accused of copy-cat-ism.

Nocturne posted one too?
This character is very important to me, his story has changed multiple times since I created him and so has his look, I am anxiously awaiting the time when I can animate his story.
This is a work in progress, regardless, I present, East.
I think you should add more detail, it's like your demon is almost there, but not quite.
After playing the Shin Megami Tensei series, I know a lot about demonology now, I think I'll draw my favourite (one of them anyway) Nebiros, when I have time.
Work on portraying their forms accurately, I think. Yes, darken them up and experiment with some colours.
I'd suggest drawing DC characters because DC is better :D!
Practice drawing some realism first then go into anime. It's hard to tell what's what and it reaks of weeaboo-ism.
I'm gonna draw him. I think my first thread was something like this thread, but I didn't read the rules so it went off to Locksville, Tennessee.
ANYWAY, I'm gonna draw him, probably tomorrow or the day after because I need to finish my first X-Mas Collab drawing soon.
But, I won't make him look like a bunch of spikes, it's not my thing.

I think that proportions are supposed to be off... it makes it more interesting. But whatever you think needs improvement is up to you. I'm just admiring the color here... I really like the train-in-space thing... Though I don't like the train. Just the space (i'm not very "deep" when it comes to art). Good work! DEFINATELY make more!
Thanks a lot, I just want to be able to draw proportionally, it'd be an asset.
Here's an update on the train drawing, yeah I don't know how to draw trains, or mechanical things at all, I'm gonna work on drawing that kind of stuff
One is passed the sketfching phase, I started a third sketch but I think at this rate I'll only have one of them done because I keep spreading myself too thin, but it's everyone else's fault for making collabs I wanna join.
Trying to decide on a background and a colour for the robot.

It really is all about practice. I'm still an amateur, so I can't really speak with depth when it comes to it.
Draw things you like, draw from life.
When is our next meeting? And what time? GMT
Your art style reminds me of comics like Ghost World.
Do you have any comic artists you admire?

I'm working on a few enemy designs, I am doing some turret type machines, some tractor beam explosives and stuff among other things.
Sketched out two pieces for this collab. I guess I'll post the work in progress' eventually.

Also im thinking of following a long steam-train most of the way there.
reposting more concepts.
I also figured that the train would likely be a miniboss, who is carrying parts for the main boss and by destroying some portions you will make the final boss easier/weaker.
Wait, so we aren't going with the desert to cliff side locale? Or is it still that but it'll end up going on into caverns that brung the player to the city of clockwork?
My villain for the Doubles Showdown, Marion Fantoccini, The Marionette. I did a bunch of doodles before coming to this one. Yeah, I do swirly eyed masks a lot.
My character, arch villain to Zanroth's character. His name is Marion Fantoccini. An aspiring sculpture with an affinity for wood carving and puppets. His lack of control in his life leaves him with little money, no a failing artist he turns crooked, and finds himself obsessed with control and then goes from petty crimes to heinous crimes with an emphasis on being in control or losing control being his modus operandi.
He then focuses on Zanroth's character, being the epitome of control and lack thereof in Marion's eyes. He then performs sugery on himself, infusing wood and copper with skin and calling him self The Marionette.

I added yours but it said that "this person isn't using messenger, but a mail have been sent to him/her to tell him hes an inferior being for doing so. All hail the great MSN. heil heil.". Ah, the wonders of technology.
Try adding me instead, that usualy works. guntherswanh@hotmail.com
I got/accepted your request. We need a leader, we need to set a time to discuss it, we need to get the other people to communicate.
Part of a three way art swap/collab between me JKAMovies and cometa-guavaberry.
Cometa's general concept, my linework and JKA's colouring.
I drew this in pencil but the rest of the project was done in photoshop so you can't see it here haha.
If anyone has an idea for what patterns should be on the chick's skin-tight space suit let me know.
