I didn't really do a great job on the clouds or anything, I nevertried a sunset background before.

Man, that battle would be so awesome.
Anyways, I really like your stuff. I especially like that first image on the page.
Thanks haha, yeah, the panda thing is my favourite character to draw.
Hopefully, I'll have a cool concept soon, because I am getting tired of drawing pokemon so much hehehe...
Here's a magikarp and a metapod battling.
Oh, well the gyarados was part of this contest entry for deviantart, I hate deviantart but I needed a reason to draw and I'm not feeling inspired right now.
Because of this contest I've been feeling pretty pokemon addicted so my latest drawings are pokemon.
I drew a GYRADOS!
It's in pen on a paper about 4 inches by 6 inches.
Awesome, I will be submitting five works soon.
For a deviant art contest, my own trainer, Uriel.
If any of you heard of Sci-fi's flash series, Sleepless I've been doing some art of his characters for his extras. This is a work-in-progress of one of the images.
Oh, I used yellow because I like yellow and because to me it's like a sunset/sunrise colour.
To her the symbols of the birds flying is being free/coming of age (she's turning twenty-one this year) I attribute sunset as part of growing, the dying part so I used that yellow. She's only getting the black parts on her though haha.

I like this one, I think you should work o texture. Bringing out the shine of each scale, you know?
Shazaaaaam and I return. I bet you didn't even know I was gone haha
My schedule for this semester is full of art classes, everything from life drawing to 3-D work. I can't wait.
I was asked by a friend to draw her a tattoo, and this is what I did. I've promised myself to work on one big project every week, so we'll see how that works out.

Looks like The Violator(The Clown) and Venom had a baby.
I could not bring myself to read the entire thread, so I don't know if you plan on colouring it, but it's sweet so far. (Mostly because I'm right zere)

One of my friends unintentionally insulted me by saying my drawings are not an involved world but a narrative in the form of a picture.
I like that my drawings mean something to some people but it makes me a little sad that I don't naturally draw worlds created in my mind's eye.
Been drawing people I know, in pen, on tiny notepads and stuff, here's one. The symbology is significant to the person whom the drawing represents.
I'm editing it in photoshop.
The reaso why people are bashing your filtered pieces is that there's no way to improve the use of filters, because filters are mant to enhance the original piece, but there's no thought (or that's how some feel) in the original piece.
Personally, I can acknowledge that your filtered pieces are pretty, but they aren't my speed. I really don't like that kind of thing, artwise.
Personally, people shouldn't bash others for using photoshop tools in a thread dedicated to the use of photoshop. Just my opinion. You're not too bad at drawing, you've got a nice base, I'd like to see you work your drawings into your filtered work.
I use filters all the time i my drawings, I live off gaussian blurs, you can probably tell when I used it too.
Haha thanks, I ended up starting to edit it in photoshop, here's where I am.
Here's a picture of a friend. I did it on a paper about 3inches by 7 inches and all in pen. I'm not really good at working with small things or in pen. I know the eyes are messed up among other things. But I can't fix it without editting in photoshop, which I don't want to do.
Kinda did the hair a la HyperJive, couldn't help it, the person I was drawing has crazy big, long hair.
Thanks Sarge, I think I need to work on creating images with more engaging poses, my characters are typically just standing there. Thanks for the critiques too.
I'm just a bit cheesed he never gave me any links to tutorials, books to look up, artists to research or any of that stuff he promised, just told me it's too late for me to improve, I am wrong to admire artists from Newgrounds and my method of self-improvement is terrible.
Now that that's out of the way, Kr8to can you give me the material you said you'd be happy to give me? I'd like to at least try your methodology further before I decide to stay my current course.
Haha, working at a print shop gives me the advantage of nice stock to print off of, and nice envelopes. I'm in if I'm popular or reliable enough.
I would think that having my Newgrounds ID to be on the card mailed to me, because I want to remain anonymous plus it'd be awesome to get a card that says "Knocturne 123 Fake Street. Anywhere CA, 90800"
Of course, I'd give you the real address but I just enjoy my anonymity.
Cool, I can't wait to see it. GET IT? You're a snowman and I said "cool".
I need to chill out, geez.
Nonsense, she's your character, the original is always better (within reason).
