Scientifically speaking, I think the general concensus is that you only get one conscience. But if you can't remember your previous ones, what's the point in multiple consciences anyway? But who knows.

Consciousness is not energy. Your brain needs energy to run, obviously. So this energy allows your brain to perceive the world and allows you to have what we see as "consciousness". It's true that energy can't be created or destroyed. When you die, you decompose. When decomposing, all the energy that your body held is basically redistributed to the environment. The biological components that you were made up of become part of something else, but there's no way you can be "reassembled" into something else and share the same conscience as it. I don't think that's the way that religious reincarnation is supposed to work. This is when the term "soul" starts getting thrown around a lot.

Depends how long ago it was. If you've just stayed freakishly attached to your memory of her for like 4 years then I'd say there's a big chance she will have moved on. You should still talk to her though.
