Seriously though, ET are probably one of my most hated bands of all time. I had to sit through their shit to see Gwar and by the end of their set had the singer spitting at me and dedicating some angsty song to "this asshole in the front" he was so pissed off. It made me glad to ruin their night.

On to the metal now. I bought tickets tonight to see Heaven and Hell/Megadeth/Down and The Haunted/Dark Tranquillity/Into Eternity. Also bought my favorite Katatonia album: "Dance of December Souls."

I'm ordering my Wacken ticket tomorrow too :D

Now, on to the fun stuff. An online friend of mine started a solo project some time ago and just recorded this last week. It's atmospheric black metal influenced ambient. Absolutely fucking amazing stuff. He's set up for a cassette release with Obscure Gate productions some time in the next month and is in the process of setting up a CD release as well.

I saw Hate Eternal in April. They were awesome. As for Suffocation, they're one of my favorite bands, so I doubt they'll disappoint no matter how boring they may seem.
