Actually, thats not really the sound that I'm looking for. I doubt that Fruity Loops has this style of instrument in its defaults. x.x I'm probably going to need a VST instrument plugin to make it work. FL Keys has more of a synthesized sound than on that track.

Go into FL Keys, and where it says "FL Piano" change it to "Roto Organ". That should work.

maybe you should try Fruity Loops Studio. The demo is free, and its fairly easy to use. Then you could work your way up to Reason, but i heard its sequencer sucks. Or if you have an insane amount of money get Cubase lol

yea i tried using old cds like willie hutch and prince and stuff, but i just cant seem to find the right loop. and thanks for the breakbeat sample site! its probably gonna help me out a lot. but how do you guys chop your samples? i tried it in FL and it all justkind of confused me lol i used to make beats on my xbox with MTV Music Generator 3 and i could sample on there REALLY easily but im not sure wat to do in FL
