I would have to say at a magic the gathering tournament. My friend went to play and i went to cheer him on and watch. To sum it all up i was stranded at the tournament (which happened to be in a huge mall) for 10 hours.

One of my friends at an SCA event (ren fest type thing) would put coconuts strung on a low hanging branch and swing them every which way. He would then pick up his swords and try to parry and hit them. He dual wielded short swords so he could move them pretty fast. this probably won't help if your using a two handed flamberg, but it will help for short fast weaponry.

You could always get a friend and heavily duck tape some bats and train on them! And yes, it does hurt.

swimming really deep water that you can't see through, like really far out in the gulf of mexico or in the middle of a really big lake. It's weird because i swim really good and fast.

I strongly agree! Old Norse religion and mythology is pretty sweet because you don't really have to chose just one.... you can mix and match!
