we arent commies jonny, they can be women

youve never heard of a woman witch doctor???

its probably just me, but when i think of a witch doctor, i end u thinking of a jamaican woman in a mask (similar to the pic i posted) saying "dont mess with my voodoo, mon"

like i said, probably just me.

exactly. youve said it yourself. make something original, instead of just using the same outline again and again. you expect to be treated as if you are some drawing god and you cant even make somethin original instead of mechanical copying. any idiot can do that. the fact that you think that is okay and we will all just ignore that fact and say "oh, wow, ur good!!!" makes you a bigger idiot.
make some different art, seriously

well, he said its less aerodynamic, i said clubs dont wear loincloths. yeah... whatever
im not on NG cuz im a comedian. :P

And here's a design for another character card: the Shaman.
I think this one was included by gameplay reasons... Her function is to prevent illnesses from hurting player's tribes. I don't think it's really historical-wise... But, hey: if the game calls for it...
I wanted to make one of the characters a woman. So think of her as a witch-doctor.

maybe add some tiki/voodoo necklace? idk but some kind of neclace or staff with something pertaining to voodoo :) so she would be more easily recognized as the witch doctor

no offense taken. but...
that isnt my point. my point is that a deadline is given to you. you should be able to follow it, instead of procrastinating (in some/most cases) though this isnt as important as, say, a job is, if your boss asks for a report to be handed in by the 30th, you better hand it in by the 30th. he wont be giving extensions. (most likely, anyways)
and even if i am in eighth grade, i have a life. i go out and do stuff (wow, thats gonna be taken out of context)
i know some adults who have no life and sit home and do stuff. besides, you are 16; you dont have much to say about it either :P
and i dont hate them, i just.... disapprove of them. which, of course, is no reason not to have them, but i believe i can voice my opinions :)

I don't think it's accurate at all. It looks nothing like that guy.

i completely agree
but to be a helpful post, let me tell you exactly what you did wrong
1. the hair- wrong color, genius. your sprite-guy has black hair; plotring has brown.
2. the eyebrows- not mentioning the failtastic coloring, in plotrings pic they are (brown, lol) and arched above his eyes. in your sprite pic they arch below the upper eyelashes, and about level with the eye.
3. the... errrr.. beard- plotring shaves. you may see some 5 o'clock shadow or something, but it is certainly not nearly as defined as your picture made it. also, what are the random orange-red spots on your pic? acne? herpes? yeah, well plotring doesnt have any of that.
4. the lips- you are really bad at coloring. maybe youre colorblind. in that case, i apologize for picking on you so much about it, but then again, you shouldnt be coloring stuff if you dont know which colors are which. plotrings lips are... pinkish red (maybe he had some koool-aid? lol) your pics lips are.... white. we arent all gingers (unlike some people...)
5. the nose- in your pic the tip of the nose droops down with no suppport. its cartilage, it doesnt just droop. if i had to compare it to something, id have to say its like a beercan (not the kind you drink... come on, think. youve hear the term before. has to do with a guys... yeahhhh you got it. one that isnt erect. now you definetely have it. yeah. suck it.)

LOL

anyways, hope this helps, and hopefullly you will improve some :)

Posemaniacs works just fine, But i dont go there because it doesn't help much, Other then allowing you to draw what you see with out skin on it.

the muscles and the skin have pratically no space between them (to be specific, less then a couple of mililiters) so it isnt that big of a deal. if you have both muscles and bones done, then you have the outline of your body

If you dont understand proportions, Bones and muscles are not your starting point.

the human skeleton definetely helps with proportions imo, but every artist has a different way around their styles, so i wont really go into that. you will find your own way of doing that
but may i direct you to this page of tuts
you might find something useful there :)

errrrr was this done in paint?
if it was, and im positive it is, shame on you
NEVER USE PAINT >:(

bad Girly789, very bad Girly

and btw....
yes i looked at the better pic, but.... there are many spots you could improve
1. the background. wayyyy too plain, and frankly, the sun is a lopsided circle... more effort could be contributed to this, like clouds and more details and smaller tree trunks
2. ummmm the hair. theres the 2 white dots on the right (our left) side of his/her head. im pretty sure this is suppposed to be glare, but usually, glare is facing the sun, which again, i must point out is lopsided :P
3. the eyes are asymetrical and so are the pupils. just make some ovals and make them even! (especially since you are using paint >:( that goes for your sun as well)

my overall opinion: i would give this a 4/10 if even. paint is bad bad bad unless you are some secret undiscovered god. put more thinking and planning into your work, and never, ever use paint.
Ever.
unless, as i said above, you are a god of some sort.
if you are, then carry on.
but the again, if you are, your art would be amazing.
and hate to break it to you. it isnt.
