I drew this on an index card in class. Class was boring. But this, this was fun.
I was listening to Monsters by Matchbook Romance while I drew this for inspiration :D
Listening to music whilst drawing is really helpful.
Pizza.
Actually, this was a scan that I stayed up 'till 3 in the morning redrawing. Why? Because, I wanted him to stop bitching. But he didn't.
lolwut? Also, scans a'comin

The colors and hair especially look nice, but you've got an issue with anatomy.
Her arms are short and stubby :(
Also, the her right arm (well, the one against her chest) has a very weird shoulder. It is overly defined and looks as if it was cut and pasted from another drawing of her turned sideways.
Does this make any sense?
I would like to participate :)
Anything in my art thread or in my art portal will do ^.^

Oh really? Poe married his cousin, beat that.
although, it WAS his adopted cousin... but still!
I officially christen this "Kinsei's Art Review Whore Thread".
Carry on.

Yeah. The pens cost (where I live) $18 for 12 pens. Sometimes they can get bitchy, and I have to wait a couple of hours before I can pick it back up again (this usually happens when I leave it open, and I think the ink on the rolling ball dries and the ball gets stuck, idk). But mostly they are loyal and trustworthy.
I usually use the v7 when I'm doodling on a large piece of paper or filling in sections of black, and I don't want to waste my v5's xD
I have found some "Black" pens to actually produce a very very dark blue or purple....
I hate when that happens. Thats why I can never bring myself to buy the cheap rolling ball ones. The ink comes in a dark grey, but you can tell it isn't near black.
They make alright when you actually want to shade your piece though because the ink will get thinner and lighter as you decrease the pressure.
At 11/25/10 04:13 AM, Zombie-Eskimo wrote: i use sharpie pens...
I have a sharpie pen but I don't recommend it. Like the v7, I use it for shading large areas of black. Unless they have some crazy fine point that I don't know of, the lines will bleed and be tooo think to make anything out when drawing small. :/
On another note, Happy Thanksgiving to alll of you in America ;)
I won't be back till Monday so until then, ciao!
At 11/25/10 12:59 AM, Zombie-Eskimo wrote: eh the lines are too thick....its like i can add as much detail with pen
Well, first off, if you are using low-quality ballpoint... don't.
I use eithe A.) Art Pens. They a=come in all thicknesses for any size drawing, ect. .5, .7, 1, 3, 5, and the list goes on.
But, since I usually don't carry them around, I use fine point rolling ball gel pens... they are Pilot Precise V5 or V7 (V5 is smaller and better to get all the details)
When I'm in school and I doodle on index cards, these are the pens that I work with.
Maybe this will help?
If there was a Stickam up we could go more in depth >.>

adjust the contrast and/or gamma when you are scanning the image. it'll make your scans darker and more visible

Oh well Here's some Anime for ya
scanners tend to fuck with your picture, its happened to all of us. no worries.
Also, might I advise you next time to crop your scan in Paint or something? All of that empty space is completely unnecessary :P
Earlier:
Well, Well, looky here... *points out anatomy issues*
Yeah, it was kinda quick to get my point across. Because of my skeletal tangent, I forgot to mention that there might be some things wrong with it xP
I just made a quick "w" to show the boobs, since it wasn't my main focus. Thanks for pointing it out though ;O
Welp, I tried...
Humpty Dumpty sat on a cock.
Humpty Dumpty started to rock.
Grunting and moaning he got it to cum.
Got down on his knees and swallowed him some.

You wont really know if you got the layer off, just feel the leather if its softer as it was before your good.
Hola, I have question too lol.
I was hoping Ben would ask them ,and he did (mosy of them) but still...
Do you usually wear these shoes out, or do you keep them at home and showccase them?
Does the marker/paint wear off when you wear them out or do you apply a finisher that prevents that?
If I were to make something like this should I avoid coming in contact with certain elements (i.e. water or dirt)?
And, last one... :P
When you customized your laptop bag, did you buy it white or did you bleach it or something?
Lol, thanks in advance xD

you could've at least bumped with an evolution :/
Here, just trying to help.
For the first pic, all I did was stretch the legs. Do you see the difference? Doesnt it look so much more correct now that the legs are the right size?
For the second one, you made an extra joint in the legs. I fixed a few anatomy isseus (i.e. the arm that is visible) and drew lines underneath so you can see how I flesh out my characters, starting from a :stick figure", per se.
I made another one.
This one was really fun to do actually.
Art Portal
The main focus is the bow, because that had the lines leading to the top and bottom, but the detaail and fun I had with the violing made it stand out too.
It makes the bow look weird because i put is at a perspecive and the violin is basically a background. :(
Done.
Forgot to post this yesterday lol.
At 11/24/10 12:54 PM, JoseFonz wrote: Not that im desperat or anything but... I need your comments
You shouldn't have a double post asking for comments, you say it in every one of your posts. If someone wants to comment, they will. :/
Thats what happens in my thread too; my advice: get used to it :(
Anyways, all of your art is alright, you could work on anatomy, like in this last pic. Her legs are really short. Her torso and everything is fine, but the legs need to be longer. Remember that the femur is the longest bone in the body, and that the tibia/fibula are almost the same length. The tibia/fibula are also longer that your humerus, which in turn is longer than your ulna/radius.
If you ever want to know about proportions, Posemanics can help. But you can also have someone stand in front of you as a model, take pictures of yourself, or simply look down and use yourself as a live reference :P

Do you know how much it cost to euthanize a pool?! I could have taken it out behind the shed and shot it for 20 cents! Fucking rip off....
Trololol.
Mine is getting to be very taxing on my income, I might have to starve it. Or pull it behind the shed, since it costs too much to euthanize. Thanks for the tip, Kinsei! :3

Well, with the Fire Vs. Water scene going on, I think you could've incorporated all 4 basic elements.
Imo, a tornado would sum it up; you've got grass, even though it isn't really battling... so wind would have all 4 :P
