I think it would be cooler if you could do the opposite of what you are doing.
Grap a filter raped (or "databent", whatever) picture and turn it into a cool drawing that doesn't look like it blew up and was pieced together by a blind 2 year old.

To me it still looks a bit off. It would look better at a bit of a bend. This isn't the best example, but you can see how on it how it's leg bends out, then in, and then its paw bends out.

No, no. I get what you mean. But, my wolf is trotting, and, when I looked at refs, that was how it was portrayed. The one you linked is standing still (look at pic). I drew in the rough shape of the bones so you can see what I mean.

Yeah, I probably could've made it more defined. Thats my fault. Maybe next time I'll get off my lazy bum and make it more defined ^_^.

A few notes:
The name should be in the designated area on the card (shouldn't it?)
You overused stock images. The purple stripes, the green floral print, what looks like a black doily? The unimaginativeness really takes away from your piece and makes it look more like a photo manipulation that anything else.

It's a work in progress, I know. I'm just saying. Actually coloring it yourself is higher regarded than a bunch of images that, although they may look nice, aren't yours.

Manga Studio is nice for that I hear.

Well, I'm not participating in this collab (yet), but I know that, although Pika isn't very skilled in digital art, he makes really awesome clay sculptures.

The new forearm looks nice. The angle is a little weird, like the fingers have been twisted. Maybe its because of those little lines seperating the light from the shadows. Get rid of that nonsense.
After a second look-over, it looks like you are trying too hard. You are adding too much detail, when you can look at it and appreciate it as a hand, nice and simple, not some intricate piece. Idk. Maybe you want it to look that way. But I think you are overthinking it.

Personally, I haven't been using Vector that much lately (ever since Ash told me to use the pen tool in SAI one time... Its so much easier!!)
