those eyes freak me out, they remind me of the owl from 4th kind if you've seen it
i quite like it, it give the piece an impressionist look to it where you've used the smaller brush size
cheers fellers, as always i'm trying to get better and since i'm on holiday its nice to have some time to do what i want

yeah going bit more serious with this one though hopefully it will look better with the whole scene. though the crime noir genre is always what i was going for with this band of charecters
and second thought i'd try a comic still. here how my charecters going to be pretty much though still working o the rest of the scene though if anyone see anything that could look better always happy to hear
ello ello thought i'd put up some stuff up since i haven't in a while i'll start with what i was working on for the ng game cause i was pleased with how it came out though not finished
very slick and stylized. your definitely one of my favorite artists
For my Next film I offer a more widely know set of cartoons. Simon's Cat
I'm posting to his collection rather than any individual piece. These are short and funny. They all have simple but impacting art. And they are all flash.
haaaaa i luv simons cat so much and if you can get it he has a book now as well full of drawing. perfect observational humor every time.
heres my idea bit more finalized though could use some more weapons i think
thats a well done tutorial Imo. it wouldn't look out of place in a book anyway.
a big sister from bio shock 2 would be kool

Thoughts?
nicely done could mabey self destruct like a mine or something perhaps.
here what i've been working on, thought it could work well for a sub boss or something though not finished just wanting to put something up before i hit the hay for the night

Neil Buchanan, the artist of the show, always does a bunch of arts and crafts things during the episode, and shows you how to do them. But my favourite part of each episode was the BIG art attack he would always do, making a massive piece out of random objects. Here's a pretty good example of one. I suggest looking into this show if you haven't seen it before.
my god art attack those were the days when i didn't have to worry about anything and even then the statue head wasn't funny
julian beever i remember seeing him way back when i was younger on a tv program called smart and he did a giant lobster and it was amazing he has a website as well

It is a great aidea though ... someone should do it (If it is not already done)
and he never said what he made his piece with, so now i can't stop thinking about it
toothpaste maybe going on the set of teeth there
i've always thought of photorealism as more of a technical achievement in the way that your recreating something to near perfect without the aid of computers or most of the tools associated with technical drawing. though i still think its an art style and its better then the people who squiggle on a canvas and sell it for thousands because apparently that squiggle is meaningful and deep.
bloody good stuff luv the water colour. it has that coloured still look of some of the old animations
oops sorry my bad then
nothing but a flash submission honest... could be the start to the level the virus breaking out and taking over.
hopefully this can start getting things rolling again. had an idea of what the virus could look.

liking this one, it has an oil painting quality to it
the shadings quite nice though one thing i would say is if your going for realism is the anatomy is a bit off like the right arms too straight where there should be a bit more curve
haha well if its worse then animating i may end up throwing my mac through a window
leather face from texas chainsaw massacre is pretty cool
luv the stuff i've just started using maya and i'm not a fan of it yet its been driving me up the wall haha. hopefully i'll be able to make models as good as this some day.
