I tried to keep busy while the whole "primaries" thing went on. I've got the DAG on some decent hosting so it's just a matter of making a clarion call out to the faithful masses. YES, marriage is about families and children more than it is about love. But more importantly, marriage originates from the church (althou less usual weddings are acceptable nowadays) and so the church does play some role in determining it's societal value. Unfortunately there are few gay bibles, or gay historical messiah, or even animalien prophets for that matter. So to this extent, leaning on a multi-millennia-old-church-tradition is a mighty mistake imo.

Accept a new legally equivalent term ('civil union' for example) ..or get ready for such setbacks.
